This hotel could be so much better if it had more quality and less noise. The renovation noise started about 8.30 in the morning and disturb a lot of. The floor was full of renovation stuff, workers and paint pots everywhere on the floor. What a surprise when arrive to hotel and found paint pots left on the floor of...

We stayed in an apartment which to our surprise wasn't noisy even though it was located to the street. The location is very convenient, close to some of the main tram lines. There are a few restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The apartment was modern, spacious, warm and very clean. There were some home appliances like a microwave, a washing machine,...

Some of the people at the Reception were very friendly, others just cool and aloof! Very good breakfast buffet with an attentive service. Good Wifi connection in rooms. I asked to be changed to a quieter room at the back. However, I was not allowed to see the new room till I had moved out from the first room (had...

One of the hotel close to the Basel Congress Centre. Simple hotel with not much of amenities to boast. Decent breakfast spread and friendly service. Since the public transport is good and they give a free pass, so roaming in the city in never a problem. Would strongly recommend if you have work in the Congress Centre.

Have just had the misfortune to stay at this hotel. The rooms at the front of the hotel are extremely NOISY - you will be woken at 4.30 am every morning by the sound of trams goint past your window. The reception staff are the worst, most unfriendly hotel staff that I have ever encountered, with the sole exception of...

This hotel is very close to the Basel congress center. Good access to public transportation. Rooms are good quality for the price asked. I was there for 5 days. They failed to clean my room twice, which is weird. The staff at reception were nice and they speak fluent german, english and french. The overall experience was good.

The Pipeband stayed at the hotel for the duration of the Basel Tattoo. A period of approximately 2 weeks. Breakfasts are good and the rooms on the ground floor were spacious, clean and well kept. Would stay here again.

We rented a one bedroom apartment from the Hotel du Commerce, which was about half a block away on Riehenring, with several restaurants below and right across from the tram stop, so very convenient location. Apartment on third floor with bedroom, large living room with flat screen TV, sofa and chairs and two pull down beds and large windows you...

Great little hotel with a very reasonable price at 85$ per night. Large bathroom with double sized shower. Good size TV and general space. Make note you get a FREE travel pass for Basel Trams and Busses while you stay and this lasts until midnight on the day of check out. Hire right next to main tram intersection. Would stay...
