We stayed here on a short city break to Basle. Excellent choice - just across from the railway station where the (free) airport bus drops you and with access to all the (free) trams. A bonus of staying in Basle is that you get a free public transport card when you check in to your hotel. The hotel is undergoing...

has a very good location, in fron of the Central Train Station and acessible by lots of public transportation. Confortable rooms and the team is really very nice. We had just one problem with one person in reception.

Very friendly staff, great localization, close to train station, good rooms with a nice minibar, with a delicious breakfast. Wifi free is a plus too! It was my 3rd stay at this hotel and I'll certainly stay again if I come back to Basel.

This is the second time that we are staying at the hotel. We picked the hotel because of the great location (Basel SBB) and easy transfer from EuropeAirport to the hotel ( took bus 50 outside the main entrance of the airport took about 15 min and it stopped right outside the Basel SBB next to the hotel. Don't worry...

The hotel has a great location, with COOP and Macs just downstairs. The WIFI is free and the customer service is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and the mini bar is complementary! It is within a very short walk to the Bus/Tram Number 50 which serves the airport. It is also free with a transportation card that the...

When I stay in Basel, and I do quite a lot - the St Gotthard is my 2nd home, the staff are always welcoming and happy to see me back - they are currently refurbishing some of the rooms, so I look forward to see the new designs. There is a superb buffet breakfast in the mornings which sets me...

I like the parrot in the lobby, breakfast was good . it doesnt feel like a 4 star hotel. The service was good. The room adequate for a single but not great. The location is good - can walk to most of central Basel

I stay here on business a few times a year and it is a stunning hotel. The lobby is full of beautiful art and sculptures - and I love the cockatiels in a cage at the back of the lobby. It's an interesting place to wander around. The staff are always welcoming and very nice. The rooms are clean and...

I've stayed in this hotel a few times now and I cannot fault it! The staff are very friendly and the rooms are modern, comfortable and spacious. We received a free mini bar and complimentary chocolates or fruit depending on if you stay during certain holidays. The location is ideal as it is extremely central with the train station on...
