They call it a budget hotel, which it definitely is – don’t expect anything more than a small, basic room serviced by an office downstairs, which is only open during the day. Surprisingly Apaliving was 30% more than the nearby Ibis Bbudget which I prefer (but it was full). Apaliving is in a quiet residential area so no disturbances. Clean,...

This hotel was booked for me when staying a night on business in Basel. Always a bit turned off by budget hotels - but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. The "hotel" doesn't have 24 hour reception, or breakfast, or a restaurant or a bar - but the rooms are more than adequate and the bathroom was...

Wifi doesn't work properly and has an annoying log on system. Room is not cleaned during the stay, there was an additional pillow in the closet which I believe didn't have a clean cover and there was a pee drop in my wc the first day. Of course I couldn't complain because there is no reception desk after 5. No...

Great location, very quiet, very close to train station, had nespresso coffee machine and a capsule per day. It's very value for money hotel and the rooms seemed renovated. Also the room had a double bed as we wanted and was very clean. Wish the stuff in reception be more friendly.

This was a really good budget hotel. We were allocated room 611, a quiet room on the 6th floor. The rooms are very clean with plenty of storage, tea and coffee making facilities and a sparkling, full-sized fridge. Wi-fi is free. Bring tea and coffee, because our sachets were not replaced. Milk and snacks can be bought from the shop...

Our second time staying here, last was two years ago, and it is even better. The rooms now have fans to help with cooling on hot nights, they have a kettle, teas and a Nespresso coffee machine. We bought milk put it in the fridge and then had perfect drinks. Then add in parking at only 10 CHF per day,...

Very clean, everyday room service, nespresso machine with two capsules every day, all day warm water, friendly and helpfull staff, quite neighborhood, near the train station, mini markets nearby, beautiful bar 200m away. Enjoyed our 4 days stay very much. Definitely stay here again if we come back to Basel.

This hotel is really good value for budget travellers - the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and knowledgable. It is in a beautiful suburb behind the main railway station just minutes on the frequent trams from the city centre - I highly recommend it!

We visited Basel for the final of the Europa League. All hotels were full and we booked this for a expensive price. These are rooms ins block with a reception Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm. If you arrive outside this timeframe you feta quote to open the main door and another quote to get your key. The receptionists...

Stayed here for one night on a visit to Basel. It was handily located for the train station and well connected by the tram to get into the city centre quickly. The room and bathroom were clean and the lady at reception was really helpful. It is located off the main road so was nice and quiet. The room had...
