Ate outdoors here and it was decent. Good pizza and the carbonara was tasty. Not too expensive and the staff were friendly and efficient. Nice beer on tap as well. Worth a visit for lunch. Would recommend this place.

Enjoyed my stay here. The location is beautiful. If your not in shape or have walking problems this is not for you. The climb to this hotel with luggage after traveling for a long time was crazy. No elevator. But still worth the stay. Last thing I would say is my Trip Advisor ap says free breakfast. Unless there was... More

The hotel certainly fits the profile of the old city, I felt staying at my grandma's! The room for 4 was pretty spacious with a big bathroom, clean, comfortable with cooling fan and a big window. The service was friendly, they called a taxi for us as requested and gave us all info we needed. The location was perfect for... More

We were driving to Perugia from Rome and were doing a search for hotels on our smartphone. We found The Hotel Umbria. It looked good, the price was good, and had decent reviews. We booked for 2 nights. We did note that it had a cancellation "Fee". Hotel Umbria is in the historical district, and so the drive into the... More

One of the best hotels I stayed in in Perugia! Location is ideal. Just a five minute walk to Corso Vannucci and all the major sites. The rooms are spic and span clean! They are also spacious and the wifi connection is very fast. The mattresses are comfortable and very well furnished. Hotel reception staff is kind and helpful, meeting... More

I stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Umbria in Perugia in August 2014, and wouldn't recommend this hotel GOOD: 1. Excellent location, merely a long and steep flight of steps down from the central Corso Vannucci. 2. Within 3 minutes walking distance of the Cathedral and the Palazzo dei Priori. 3. Within 5 minutes walking distance of Piazza Italia (bus... More

On foot I had difficulty finding the hotel from the internet directions. When you get off the bus at Piazza Italia walk up Corso Vannucci (main st) and halfway up on the left you will see the Hotel Umbria name above a laneway. Follow the steps down to the end and the hotel is on the left. The location is... More

This was the one hotel I stayed at in Italy that had a proper wifi with actual internet coming out of it. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Depending on who you get to talk to, that is. The breakfast is perfectly skippable, the location is right at the heart of Perugia. Wich means you have easy access to the... More

Hotel Umbria in Perugia is located right off Corso Vanucci, the main street of the old centre of Perugia. Just minutes away from Piazza IV Novembre, it is the ideal stay-in to visit the Cathedral, the National Art Gallery and countless other historical places and museums which you can go to on foot. Apart from that, the hotel is walking-distance... More

We have used Hotel Umbria in Perugia several times and have been impressed by its simplicity, practicality and excellent service and more importantly by its friendly staff. Perugia is a good place to visit and hotel Umbria is the place to stay.
