There is a lot to like about this classy hotel with just a couple of niggles. We appreciated the warm and efficient welcome at reception and the friendly response from all the staff. English is widely spoken. Also the art and decor throughout the hotel is impressive. The hotel enjoys probably the best location in Perugia with stunning views over Umbria from its elevated position. It is only a 10 minute walk into the centre of town where there are many bars and restaurants to meet all budgets. Breakfast was enjoyable with freshly made coffee & croissants but service was sometimes frantic, especially when our Riviera Travel group of 15 arrived for an early start. We had to chase our coffee order on a few occasions. The pool area is beautiful but it was disappointing to find the sauna always switched off. I appreciate it is not viable to leave it on all the time, but maybe it could be set to come on at 4pm for a couple of hours to allow guests time to relax before dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay and can highly recommend this impressive hotel.…
Superb setting and location in a lovely building but in need of a little more modernising/update especially in the bathrooms…. But I would stay again. Good service particularly from the front desk and nice bar setting for evening drinks. Didn’t eat in the hotel and breakfast a bit chaotic when the Riviera holiday tour party landed!!!
After three weeks in Italy our stay at Sini Brufani was the best of our trip. The room was spacious and easy for two women to share. Eva at the desk was awesome and went beyound to help my granddaughter get a nail appointment before a family wedding in Pila. Sitting outside the hotel and drinking wine while watching the people was very fun. Breakfast was wonderful . I would highly reccomend this hotel.
Lovely hotel! So enjoyed it. Helpful staff and very clean! Beautiful views too! My husband and I were attending the Music festival and it was the perfect spot to stay. The hotel an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.
Fabulous service, room, breakfast and Collins restaurant. This is the best hotel in Perugia. Perfect location steps away from all shops and restaurants. The indoor swimming pool is amazing! Highly recommend. We will return hopefully one day.
Sina Brufani was amazing! Exactly what we needed and the staff is remarkable. Andres and Valerie at the front desk and Fililpo at the bar were especially attentive. All of the bellmen were top notch. The location is perfect and the city of Perugia is a special place. We loved our time there and look forward to our next visit. Grazie mille, Sina Brufani!
My partner and I booked this hotel last minute as our other accommodation fell through and it seemed to be the best rated available. The hotel itself is beautiful, some elements could do with a bit of updating such as the bathroom in our room, but that didn't cause any issues and the views from our room were incredible. The pool is also amazing and as you have to book, it is always pretty quiet. The only issue I had was that there were no irons available, only an ironing service which was about €15 per item.
A legacy hotel in the grand manner of the late 19th century - centrally located, featuring oversized public spaces, many with questionable utility, courteous and well-informed staff, excellent breakfast buffet where well-heeled guests chat in discreetly hushed tones, but worn-out mechanical systems, most notably the air conditioning that failed utterly during the 2022 summer heat wave when my wife and I stayed there. Subtle but foul odors of mysterious origin (bathroom drains?) permeated our junior suite. Queen Elizabeth’s mother(!) overnighted here once in this hotel’s glory days. Those days are long gone now.
The overall experience was good , the hotel located in a very nice spot , they have a nice bar where you can enjoy a drink outdoor. The breakfast was weak & when I ordered omelet with vegetables / one with tomato & cheese , it took too long to get it with a strange way to prepare as if the chef knows nothing about it. The price is quite too high on the the other hand. Staff are very friendly as well.
Pleasant staff, very helpful. Lovely situation in a prime spot in Perugia. Didn’t sample the dinner option but the dining room used for tourists lacked atmosphere. It would be better if it was converted into a lounge with comfortable chairs because there is none otherwise. Super but unused roof terrace which would be highly popular if it was used during the day with a drinks bar. Rooms were very nice as expected but the ergonomics of the bathrooms could be improved. Nice having a bidet but everything squeezed in and the combined shower/bath did not have an anti-slip floor so for the older traveller not the safest. However, we put up with all this simply because the location of the hotel was super in this beautiful town. Overall a nice place to stay.
