The other reviews of this hotel are on target. Desk was pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was plenty adequate, not elaborate. Hotel located less than 5 minutes from the municipal piazza and the nearest bus stop. About 15 minutes walk to the Basilica of San Francesco di Assisi. If street noise is a concern, try to get a room not facing... More

Selected this hotel because of the location for a week's holiday for myself and my husband. On arrival we were greeted by Alessandra, her command of English immediately putting us at ease. There is a lift to all floors, so my lack of mobility was not an issue and we were soon settled in our room. We had room 38... More

The hotel was fine, perfect location right at the entrance to the old town, clean rooms, a nice breakfast, good price and lovely polite staff. The room is simple but clean and you wouldn't spend much time there anyway surrounded by so many great places to visit.

Location is top at this small hotel. It's located on a beautiful piazza, overlooking a church. Gorgeous views nearby. Within walking distance of the all the sights. The rooms are small and nothing special. There isn't air conditioning but there are huge ceiling fans. The windows also opened up to let cool night air in. Overall, this is a decent... More

This is a tough review for me because it's kind of strange. The room was ok. Location above average. However, the staff were barely passable. I know it's the end of season but you have to know when your visitor centre is open. Like come on. Where is the closest travel agent...again no help. But they wanted their answer right... More

Received an excellent rate for a single room that was the perfect size for exploring. Plenty of outlets, working fan, and clean bathroom. Clean sheets, no sign of any traveling monsters. An absolutely perfect and peaceful getaway with decent service and a staff that spoke English fluently.

Location is great, parking less so. The hotel rooms have no air con but a large ceiling fan which was most welcome, lovely comfortable and spotlessly clean room. Staff were lovely and helpful, check in guy suggested we have lunch there after parking the car, it ended up a late lunch, parking the car was a nightmare! Food was ok... More

It was a really good location, in front of Chiara Basilic (and a perfect public terraza), close to good restaurants. It's walking distance from Francesco Basilic. Very nice staff. Pretty valley view. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning. Excellent hot shower, although bathrooms are small.

This is a quiet hotel especially good for those who know what they want and do not have unreasonable expectations. The hotel is placed in a strategic location few hundred meters away from the main Basilica. The service is good, the rooms are worth the money you pay. It's quiet and clean. Basically, we will be back again the next... More

We visited Assisi in October 2013 and stayed at this hotel for 1 night. We had a room on the first floor with a window looking onto the street below and across to the cathedral of St Claire. The shower was elevated and over the toilet (very strange set up). The lift was not working properly so we had to... More
