We stayed at Malverina during winter while visiting Assisi. Accommodation was warm and staff lit a fire each morning while serving a generous breakfast. We received good advice for local sites and places to eat. The restaurant was a unique, cosy, interesting -adorned with historical agricultural mementos and the food was sumptuous. We forgot to ask the cost for dinner...

A perfect place to stay in Assisi. Malarian is a charming agriturismo in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, one of the best meals we had in Italy and everyone was helpful and friendly! Our room was charming and spacious. Giacomo drove us into town (5 minutes away) and picked us up when we were...

My husband and I have stayed at Malvarina two times in the past and loved it both times. While staying at this family owned and operated agriturismo we also enjoyed their wonderful dinners. We returned to Assisi this Spring with six friends. Since there were eight of us we decided to rent a villa rather than staying at Malvarina. However,...

This gem is a perfect respite while touring Umbria/Assisi. As an organic farm, the eggs for breakfast are probably the best you will ever have, with an onsite cooking school as well. You eat what you cook and will cry with delight from the homemade pastas & gnocchi, to homemade desserts and wonderfully grilled meats. Of course, lots of wine...

Malvarina is nestled on a wooded hillside, in a very tranquil location. The various buildings are located on different levels, all have a rustic style. The rooms are furnished with nice traditional furniture and are very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Restaurant and Bar have great character and a very relaxing atmosphere. Dinner every evening was...

We spent three days here and thoroughly enjoyed each one. This agriturismo is a place to relax and appreciate beauty. From the time we arrived we delighted in the crisp pine scent in the air, the well-tended garden beds, the rustic quality of the buildings, the friendliness of the people and the obvious care and pride they take in their...

On a family vacation through Italy, we spent 3 nights at Malvarina. It is a beautiful farm just outside of Assisi. Claudio and his sons are lovely hosts, mama cooks a delicious 6 or 7 course meal every night that lasts 2 or 3 hours in beautiful rustic dinning rooms. Breakfast consists of the best freshest eggs from the farm...

I took my wife on a ten day trip to Italy a couple years and our first stop was in Assisi. We wanted to stay at one of the beautiful Agriturismo's, and after much research, we decided on Malvarina. Malvarina is located approximately 5 minutes outside of Assisi and offers a wonderful, relaxin stay with AMAZING dinners. The dinners are...

We first stayed at Malvarina 7 years ago in May, when everything was in bloom. It is a classic agritourismo located about 10 minutes from the Basilica of St. Francis. Clean, comfortable, cozy and very friendly. It has an aged patina that is warm and welcoming. Claudio who greeted us was fun and helpful. Lettica who cooked our breakfast in...

I booked a couple of nights at the Malvarina and wished that I had booked more! The staff are great, the pool and its views are amazing and the rooms are very comfortable. Dinner in the evening is fantastic! Highly recommended!
