Rita, Sara and Vittoria really make II Battistero Siena B&B, our stay was perfect and that is thanks to these lovely ladies. No request was ever too much trouble, their advice and recommendations were spot on, our room was exceptionally clean and breakfast in the morning was beautifully set out for us. The location is central and only minutes away...

My husband and I spent three days and nights in Siena at the il Battistero. Everything about the B & B was perfect..location, rooms, staff, parking outside the city walls, nearby eateries, and all the sightseeing highlights in the old town area were within walking distance. We really enjoyed our wine tasting experience in the basement of the building.

When my husband and I arrived in Siena, we violated one of the rules of life which is NEVER to drive your rental car into the city itself. We got totally stuck and a kind taxi driver had us follow us to Il Battistero. We would never have found it because it is located just perfectly in the middle of...

We stayed at the Il Battistero for two nights while visiting Siena. It's located directly across from the Basilica which is absolutely amazing. The staff was terrific and extremely friendly. We stayed in the Terrace room and it overlooked the city - beautiful! Siena is a quaint little town that's a great place to walk around day or night.

A beautiful place to stay in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The location was incredible - ten minutes from the bus stop if you're coming from Florence. About 40 minutes walk to the train station - but a simple enough straight route. The rooms were large with attention to details. The building has an interesting history...

The B&B is steps away from the Battistero and Duomo, location could not be better. It is located atop a wine shop in a historic building renovated with modern features. The room is contemporary, but maintains some of the original medieval architecture. It has a lovely private bath, mini fridge, and room for comfortable lounge chair. The hosts are very...

My husband and I were traveling with another couple throughout Tuscany. We loved the location of our two bedroom apartment on Piazza del Campo in Siena. The apartment although oddly configured was comfortable for two couples. Beware of several things, however. First, you have to specifically arrange for use of the kitchen in the apartment. Also, Piazza del Campo is...

We cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful people who run this centrally located B & B in old Siena. Rita, Gina and Sarah were amazing hosts who went out of their way to ensure a most enjoyable stay when we were here early in September while my husband was attending a conference. They were friendly and welcoming, helped organise...
