We stayed here for 3 nights, in a room overlooking the duomo - an incredible view. The room was comfortably furnished, and respectful of the age of the building. The location was outstanding - everything in Siena was within walking distance. They made several restaurant reservations for us both in Siena and Montalcino - all excellent choices. My only hesitation...

Rita, Sara and Vittoria really make II Battistero Siena B&B, our stay was perfect and that is thanks to these lovely ladies. No request was ever too much trouble, their advice and recommendations were spot on, our room was exceptionally clean and breakfast in the morning was beautifully set out for us. The location is central and only minutes away...

The hotel is in the perfect position. We would suggest a suite overlooking the Piazza as there is more space and the cost is only a little more than a standard room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We would suggest the wine tasting in the cellar, it was worth the money. We would definitely stay again.

We were a bit concerned about proximity to the Duomo (bells) and it was Easter, but was never an issue. The team there are so lovely. Very helpful indeed. The breakfasts were a perfect way to start our day. We stayed in the suite room overlooking the front of the Duomo and I had to pinch myself - so beautiful....

What a delightful B and B, located upstairs from a very nice wine shop. Rita our hostess was charming and so helpful. She made us reservations at great restaurants and moved us to the "pope's apartment" when it became available. Breakfasts were to order and delicious! All there were so nice to us. The location is excellent and walking to...

The location is fantastic, right in the middle of everything you would like to see. When you walk into the lobby your expectations immediately become high especially considering the money you are spending for a room. The lobby is really tastefully done blending the old feel of the building with modernity. There is a modern glass wall holding wine bottles...

My husband and I spent three days and nights in Siena at the il Battistero. Everything about the B & B was perfect..location, rooms, staff, parking outside the city walls, nearby eateries, and all the sightseeing highlights in the old town area were within walking distance. We really enjoyed our wine tasting experience in the basement of the building.

When my husband and I arrived in Siena, we violated one of the rules of life which is NEVER to drive your rental car into the city itself. We got totally stuck and a kind taxi driver had us follow us to Il Battistero. We would never have found it because it is located just perfectly in the middle of...

We stayed at the Il Battistero for two nights while visiting Siena. It's located directly across from the Basilica which is absolutely amazing. The staff was terrific and extremely friendly. We stayed in the Terrace room and it overlooked the city - beautiful! Siena is a quaint little town that's a great place to walk around day or night.
