First trip to Siena and unprepared to arrive in a place that required 8 escalator rides just to get to street level and then unable to find a taxi. So we ended up dragging our bags probably 2 klilometres over cobblestones to a very unique...More
B&B Il Corso is perfectly situated in the hustle and bustle of Siena. It is along the main Street, Via Banchi di Sopra, just up from Il Campo. We had an easy walk from the bus station when we arrived in Siena.

Wonderful place to stay. You're literally twenty five meters from Piazza dell Campo. Alberto was very helpful with restaurants and places to visit. A very nice man. The room was very clean, peaceful, had exposed ceiling beams, private bathroom, tv, a large window that opened...More

We stayed with two teenagers in this room, we spent most of our days out sightseeing so weren't in it enough for it to really feel cramped. If you are just two persons then there's a small room with a bright window with a double bed then you'll have a small lounge area with sofa, side tables, dressing table, bathroom is fairly spacious. Balcony is great for people watching and all the sights and sounds of Siena, not big enough for furniture but I did manage to squeeze one of the room chairs out there. There's also a tiny courtyard off the breakfast room where you can sit with a coffee.
