I spent a week in a flat that was rather comfortable. A bit noisy though, I could hear the neighbours talking and laughing (not all the time) and a person upstairs walking around on high-heels. But the service was perfect, very friendly (and professional) welcome. Plenty of things for breakfast. The rooms in the apartment were clean. The furniture is... More

My husband and I spent only one night here, but we would have enjoyed more. This property is beautiful. We rented a room in the hotel area, which included breakfast, which was very nice. Our room had a kettle, tea bags, coffee, and a few small cakes making for a nice treat after our drive. The room and public areas... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in mid Sept. We wanted a little tranquility but still be in striking distance of the centro. The BG has a ton of potential (some already realized). But I'm not sure i would return for a stay. I'm a little bit on the fence. Pros: 1. The hotel setting and grounds... More

Dear Guest, thanks so much to find the time to write a so long review. I thank you for the "PROS" and I want to give my point of view regarding the "CONS". The travel experience is very individual and future guests need to have our point of view, too. 1: SAFE IN THE ROOM. First of all you have... More

We thoroughly enjoyed a two-night stay at the lovely Borgo Grondaie...once we found it! It might be an idea to contact the reservation desk for directions before arrival--but once there you will be delighted with this garden-surrounded oasis. Once we had clearer directions, it was a manageable walk (and multiple escalator rides) to the old city of Siena--and lovely to... More

Beautifully kept Tuscan grounds. Rooms were very clean and decorated in true Tuscan style. Staff very friendly and helpful with all queries. The buffet breakfast was wonderful in quality, variety and presentation. My daughter has multiple food allergies and staff were very helpful with all my queries and even made phone calls to find out what was in the locally... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon after a cruise and on our way to Rome. We wanted to stay longer. We loved Siena (in my opinion, better than Florence), the serenity was palpable, the layout of the property and the room were gorgeous, extremely clean and well-maintained and exactly what you would hope for... Our Siena base from 4th September. Photos accurately reflect the borgo, it is beautiful and due to its locaton it feels like being in the country but with Siena on your doorstep. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with its own garden at the top adjacent to the pool area whixh is a fabulous location (Cypress). Breakfast is wonderful on... More

After the crowds of Venice and Rome, relaxing in this really beautiful setting just outside the center of Siena is exactly what we need. The pool is sparkling and clean, the rooms are large and have everything we need (including a kitchen, though we're not using it), there's a small laundry, the little restaurant has delicious dinners and breakfasts, the...
