Although there is free wifi, it was not working during my entire 3 days stay. The staff makes no effort to fix it - instead i was just told that this distruption in the old city was normal and nothing can be done. Pleaae beware that if you get a room in the ground floor that you might not be...

This is in a great location in beautiful Siena. There is a roof terrace with a lovely view - great spot for a glass of wine! There is a communal fridge which you can use. The room had no kettle - I found not being able to make a cup of tea when I want frustrating. The bathroom was also...

If you are going to book this hotel for anything, do it for the view from the terrace. It is the perfect spot to enjoy Siena with a bottle of wine. Since it was January, we had the terrace all to ourselves and it was the perfect romantic spot to enjoy our evening. There are so many other reasons to...

My wife and I were on a two week honeymoon around Italy and stayed here for two nights. Try to ignore old reviews from several years ago, even Rick Steve's old books and videos. Its now owned by several sisters. While my review is a year late (New Year's 2016) I'm sure that their place is just as good as...

Very nice staying! I would have never expect to find this place so refined considering that it is a one-star accommodation. One should not stop at the first impression! It seems a very-normal,nothing-special hostel until you get inside! Very clean, nice and homely. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. The common bathroom were clean as well and I never had the...

The hosts were super nice, the free breakfast was delicious. The amazing view from everywhere, especially the big balcony, was just great. Also located close to the center of Siena. Very warmly recommended.

We stayed here two nights while on our three week cycling trip to Italy. Although there were some definite pluses to this place (welcoming hostess, great location, nice breakfast), it had by far the worst bathroom of our entire trip. Way too small and outdated.

Amazing view from our room, which was very clean and spacious! We had wonderful breakfasts up on the patio in the mornings, and again headed for that patio to share a bottle of wine in the evening to watch the sun set. There are only 9 rooms in a shared building built in the 1500's. So special. Marble stairs, tiled...

Perhaps the worst bed I have ever slept on in my life. I have slept in dorm beds more comfortable than the beds at Albergo Bernini. Kind of ruins your stay when you are extremely sleep deprived. Beware: you are paying for the views and location only. The views are nice but not worth it for the terrible beds. Like...

The location & the views made our stay in Siena wonderful. The terrace was lovely (especially under a full moon). Owners greeted us; rooms were fine; and the staff were so gracious and helpful. The bonus for us was the early check-in time. Dropped off our bags and then out to see the sights by 10:30 am. Magnifico!
