We choose this simple hotel based on Rick Steeve's guidebook. It was only €110 per night and met expectations-- older furniture and bathroom, with minimal charm. A let down after a Rome Hilton Garden Inn, but we weren't really expecting much. But avoid the breakfast-- @ €7.50 not worth it. Cold eggs, stale cake, croissants and cereal... Depressing breakfast room... More

Cool old building perfectly located in Siena. Helpful staff. The room was nothing special but we felt it was a good value. You won't spend any time in your room in Siena anyway:) The a/c and wifi worked fine too.

This is a cute hotel located in the city centre of Siena . The rooms are clean and they provide breakfast if required . The rooms have good wifi and there is a cosy lounge to sit and read or chat with others . The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is reasonably priced.

Oh man. There's a HUGE pub right next door (looks small from the street but the downstairs is massive) and all the fools from the pub who want a smoke congregate in the alley right outside the hotel and chat loudly. Thick windows only muffle a bit of the constant din. And bright streetlight right outside of room (room #2)... More

Clean, tidy, and inexpensive with good guest services, visitors to Piccolo Hotel Etruria will enjoy an optimal location from which to explore Siena's beautiful, ancient town center with no car needed. It's located a minute away by foot from the main town square, where the Palio is held: Piazza Del Campo. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the hotel... More

The Hotel Etruria location is close to the Campo square. Leopold an owner was extremely helpful and answered all questions thouroughly. Good WiFi.He recommended a non tourist restaurant close by that was fair priced for Siena named La Taverns do Cecco very tasty. A good inexpensive stay at this hotel.

This hotel is located in the historic heart of Siena. We stayed only one night, so it was very convenient. What it lacks in luxury, it gains in convenience and the manager is a darling. The room was quiet, but the bed, although comfortable, took up the whole space. With two people and some luggage, the room was filled instantly.... More

Very friendly staff. Last minute booking and they were very accommodating. Budget hotel but clean and convenient. Ask for a quiet room if you're sensitive to noise - downside of being so close to the Plaza del Campo. Upside is its location and convenience as well as the friendly staff.

This hotel is noisy, cold (no heat until November) and one day no hot water. Breakfast is extra and not worth the 7.50 e. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The noise comes from the street as the people are out and about until 3:30 am and at 5am start the various trucks. We also had one day that the... More

Wife and I stayed one Saturday night to squeeze in last days of Italian vacation. Great repeat great location next to Il Campo. What nobody told me was it has hell of noisy (at least Saturday night we stayed in October 2015). School age kids running, yelling, cat calling, etc. Looks like there is a school nearby. Would be an... More
