Prestigious Villa dated back to the 1700, located in the north part of the city, just 10 minutes form the historical centre. The large rooms are divided between the main building; different in style and colours with classic refined furnishings. The restaurant “ La Limonaia” offers typically Tuscan tastes with panoramic view. Halls will surroundyou with their frescoes in the reading room and bar area. A large ancient oaks park and a roses garden host an open air swimming pool and a tennis court. Large meeting and banqueting area. Private parking for cars and buses.

Hotel Garden played host to my group of 18 travelers. The hotel was able to accommodate each couple with the perfect room according to their financial needs. The restaurant, the bar, the terrace, the pool...outstanding. Location was within walking distance to the town center plus a bus stop was located at the bottom of their driveway. Got to love a good bartendar and Hotel Garden has one!!!

The Hotel Garden is a good hotel with a very large lovely outside terrace area. The terrace is a good area to have a drink with views across to Siena, and the outside evening meals on the terrace were lovely. We found the staff friendly and helpful, in particular the bar staff. The walk to Siena was about 35 minutes, we did drive into Siena one day but the parking was terrible, so we returned to the hotel and then walked in. We used the hotel as a base to explore some of Tuscany by car, including the Chianti area and The Vale d'Orcia which is beautiful. We particularly like Pienza. The internal restaurant lacks atmosphere and could do with a more stylish update, better lighting etc.One evening a coach group stayed and took up a lot of the restaurant, so possibly check and book meals the day before.

Hotel Garden is a delight. It was wonderful to return after the last few years of impossible travel and to find that the hotel grounds, facilities, restaurant and bar are up to the same high standard as before. Staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. The location - away from the city bustle, but within easy reach - is excellent. We can't wait to come back again soon.

The good, restaurant, bar and chamber maid staff excellent. Location good, simple walk into Siena or railway station. Reception staff not interested in resolving customer perceived problems. The hotel is supposedly 4 star but at best was only 3 star. We had room 191, very large but view poor. No coffee in the room, mini bar consisted of 4 bottles of water only. When reception was asked why there was no coffee they said tea was provided in the room (but no milk) and you could obtain coffee in the bar, also no cups or glasses in the room, only paper cups. No attempt by reception to resolve to customer satisfaction.

The setting for this hotel is splendid with views across Siena and beyond. The hotel itself is quite dated and in need of some modernisation. The room we stayed in was average, however, there was a strong 'strange smell' doing from the bathroom sink (maybe due to a build up of hairs and old skin) and we approached the staff on a couple of occasions (facilities came and put detergent down the plug hole but the smell persisted). Dinner - very basic but expensive, the presentation of the food is really poor and the head waiter was not very 'receiving of guests'. We arrived 10 minutes early for dinner to be told ' you are too early' - even though the table was ready, his attitude was not very welcoming and some training of the staff is needed badly. The menu is very basic and not very exciting. My advice is that if you want a great meal and great steak dished DO NOT eat in the hotel's restaurant.

Nice hotel located 2km (35-40min walk) from central Siene. Stayed in room 333 which had a city view and was a large double with separate sitting room. Facilities were great, breakfast was amazing and the room was almost perfect (this the 4). We overlooked the restaurant terrace and heard nothing. There was a wedding the 2nd night… heard nothing… however the couple next door, unfortunately we could hear them… at midnight, I think through the air conditioning system. Nevertheless it is a really nice hotel with pool and facilities. Would probably recommend

I travelled to The Garden Hotel alone for a restorative and exploratory trip to Siena. On arriving at dusk I opened the shutters in my clean, spacious, elegant too to be greeted with the most magical of views that I didn’t grow tired of- and actually still miss..! The waiters and Nicola the barman at the Garden were incredibly kind and helpful and made a solo woman feel at ease and also looked after. And he makes a mean Negroni…..! I would thoroughly recommend this place to someone travelling on their own looking for an elegant yet inexpensive haven. It is slightly outside of Siena’s centre, which I liked, but you need to be happy walking a bit…

Stayed at this amazing accommodation for two days. Lovely pool, which opens from 1000. Food, breakfast and dinner are amazing. Stay in the main villa if you can, as there is a block called Casablanca, which has small dark rooms. We asked to be moved, we went to room 144, second floor with views across the the city, very nice. The following staff members are a credit to the hotel: Bianca on reception was great, very knowledgable about everything to do with Siena…She really helped us have a great time in the city. Nicola in bar, what he doesn’t know about cocktails can’t be worth knowing. He is very friendly, from southern Tuscany so very helpful advising where to and where not to go. Would defiantly stay again, room 143.

First and foremost, the hotel is delightful. Amazing location and very luxurious for the price. We had a brilliant time with a group of family and friends. The only thing that lets this hotel down greatly is their outdated systems. Our group had around 12-14 rooms and each one of them was charged incorrectly on check out for food and drink we didn’t consume. When challenging the staff, we had drinks and food put on our bill for dates we were not even in the hotel. Some of our group paid without checking and over spent by around 200 euros in some instances. Some members of staff also came across as quite rude on some occasions. Perhaps they were not keen on large groups despite us being respectful and quiet. My advice to guests is to keep track of what you charge to your room , and my advice to the hotel is to improve the charging / billing process. Apart from this - it was a great hotel and throughly enjoyable.
