The location is very central, only minutes away from Piazza del Campo. It's a family run B&B, hosts are very friendly. Rooms are centered around a common kitchen/dining room, which gives it a hostel-style character. Our 2 rooms were located in the attic in a suite-type arrangement, with more than 100 steps to climb from street level (no person elevator,... More

OK, if you have a problem going up five floors to your room this hotel is probably not the right choice for you. And as the guest rooms are directly under the roof, it can get pretty warm in summer, especially because there is no air con. But if these issues are not a problem for you, this Bed &... More

Although looking not particularly fancy from the outside, this hotel is an absolute great deal for some days in lovely Siena. The hotel personnel is very kind and helpful, the rooms are lovely and recently renovated and the terrace has an incredible view over Siena. Breakfast is also very delicious and you can even cook your own meal on a... More

The accommodation is in a very central location, accessible for all sightseeing. We would however recommend that something is done about the water supply for the shower. We often had very cold water, after a long wait it then became dangerously boiling hot, to return to cold after 1 minute. It was not a pleasant experience. The bathroom would also... More

The stairs of this top floor guest house are the only disadvantage. I think that I counted over 100! However, the extremely convenient location, very close to the campo, a comfortable room, satisfactory breakfast and, best of all, the breathtaking views across rooftops to the Tuscan countryside beyond make the effort of climbing worthwhile. I'd definitely stay again. But don't... More

The most important thing to note is that this isn't a hotel. The situation is very good, very central ,but access isn't until 3pm and we were left with the impression that the family have too many other things to be doing and that this is essentially a side-line which they attend to when they can.As an example, when my... We stayed in this hotel for one night at the beginning of our honeymoon. We had a great experience. The hotel/b&b is based about 4 flights of stairs up from ground level, but they had a great pully system to get our heavy luggage up there which was very welcome! The staff were very friendly, offering us tips and recommendations... More

Stayed one night in very hot week in July 2015 and it was very good. Location is very good as it is very close to Piaza del Campo. The hostess, Simeona, was partly present and very accomodating even though she had to struggle with her english. Clean and tidy , spacious, new bathroom. No air-con but plenty of breeze through... For the price this place is ok. The view is amazing! The sunsets are incredible. For what we paid - and considering we came for the Palio - we are satisfied as we could walk everywhere and see beautiful Siena. A few things to note before you stay. It's very very very loud until 3-4am in the summer, and I'm... More

We stayed for one night in April, family of 4. The place was very clean and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The view and porch were out of this world. I wanted to stay more than one night. Would definitely return and would recommend to friends. Just be sure to know the directions and have the phone number... More
