We stayed here for 5 nights recently and it was by far the most enjoyable time we had in Italy. The location is great just a quick 10 minute car ride into Siena. Nadia and Christian and there staff were the best hosts. They treated us just like family. Now let's get to the food. All I can say is... More

We spent 2 nights here as part of out tout of Italy. Family run winery and B&B with all the food fresh from the garden and/or home baked each day. Fantastic spreads for breakfast and what a great value dinner each night with wine included and plenty of it. We had dinner with 12 other guests one night and 6... More

The family and staff are so friendly, the food is cooked fresh daily with home grown ingredients, and the wine is organically produced and flows like water. Access to both Sienna and Florence is hassle free. Wifi is available in the communal areas as well.

We spent nine wonderful days here in the heart of Tuscany 2 miles North of Siena. Christian, the owner, and Valentina, the manager/cook greeted us and were our hosts during our visit. They couldn't have been more human, warm, friendly and generally helpful. We were there during the peak of the tourist season and the place was really busy. Even... More

This was our family's first trip to Italy, and my wife was most looking forward to our stay in Tuscany. After a lot of research, we settled on Agriturismo Marciano based on the reviews and comments we'd read. The enticement of a home-cooked Italian meal was the deciding factor. Our adult family of 4 loved the large end room we... More

We stayed at Agriturismo Marciano for 6 nights in August. This was our second stay and we were just as pleased as we were previously. The location can't be beat; it's central to most of Tuscany and Umbria and also close to the historical center of Siena (10 minutes by car or taxi). It feels secluded from the hustle and... More

This is was our first experience in an agriturismo. After doing extensive research to find a location was that was central enough to use as a home base and that offered a clean and relaxing accommodation I chose Marciano. The reviews and photos looked wonderful and made me excited anticipating spending six nights here. Yes, it was convenient (approximately 20... More

We wanted a place to use as a home base while we explored Sienna and the Tuscany region. We spent five nights at Agriturismo Marciano and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is easily accessible by car. The hospitality was second to none and we had some of the best food and wine of our trip here. A wonderful breakfast was included... More

My husband, son, and I stayed at Agriturismo Marciano four days in June. The property is lovely and the food and hospitality were wonderful. We look forward to visiting next summer. We had the pleasure of dining at the farm on two evenings. Dinner was fabulous and we enjoyed meeting new friends. We feel so fortunate that we have discovered... More

We wanted a location convenient to Siena but in the countryside, as we were traveling with a rental car and wanted easy parking and easy access to touring the surrounding area. Agriturismo Marciano fit the bill in every respect! From here we took several easy day trips to the Val D'orcia, Montalcino, Pienza, San Gimignano, etc. A great location and... More
