Just returned from a fabulous week starting at Chiesetta di Santo Pietro. We couldn't have asked for a better place to be. The location, views and helpfulness of everyone concerned at second to none. It was heaven for a week.

A last minute booking we found this quaint guest house a week before our vacation. We actually stayed in the church itself. The decoration is done with beautiful taste and is exactly as it appears in the images. A family of two children and two adults the space was more for a couple but we were not effected by this...

Realy a special place, everything is as shown in the pictures. Excellent view, large garden with swimming pool and relaxing sun beds with shade. Garden only used by the three apartments. Realy nice hosts that make you feel welcome. We stayed at il Portico, with a rural feeling. Spacious apartment with nice sofa's and beds, general in good condition, reasonably...

Spent a holiday there over six years ago with my daughter and 9 month old Grandson Sam - it was perfect - the owners were so lovely and the accommodation above perfect. We visited the family last September when we were again in the area and it felt like coming home. Love to family from Sue,Hannah and Sam xx

Thanks to Ivo and Olga for making their renovated and expanded 11th-12th century chapel property on the Pilgrims' dusty road to Rome available for 21st century travelers. From the moment we drove up (you need a car to get around) they were friendly and helpful hosts. They have put a ton of work into the place. Their care shows and they...

We would highly recommend La Capanna. We stayed for 3 weeks in the separate characterful and charming one bedroom house with complete privacy and fabulous views of the Tuscan countryside. Having a decent sized completely private outdoor eating, sunbathing and sitting area makes a Huge difference. The rooms are good sized and tastefully decorated and furnished. The pool is excellent...

We stayed in the Bellavista 3 bedroom apartment for a week in September 2013. As the name suggests, the building is an old converted church and farmhouse with real character and old world charm. The location provides good privacy, although there are three apartments, so you will occasionally run into the other guests. The grounds were well kept and the...

My husband and I stayed in La Capanna for a week in September. We enjoyed everything about our stay: our beautiful apartment with Tuscan decor, old world touches, convenient and comfortable rooms and a view that was unbelievable. Outside our living room was a stone terrace, comfortable chairs and a gorgeous view over the Tuscan countryside. Chiesetta di Santo Pietro...

We stayed at Chiesetta San Pietro in the apartment, Il Portico in June 2013. It is perched on a hilltop with panoramic views across the Tuscan countryside. We were greeted on arrival by the owner, a larger than life character who instantly made us feel welcome. He has a lively personality and a sense of humour coupled with a broad...

We stayed for a week in La Capanna and had a great time. The view from Chieseta di santo pietro is simply amazing and we enjoyed taking our breakfast and meals on the little private terrace. The pool is great and you can enjoy the view while swimming! There is WIFI access from the pool so we spent quiet a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The chapel of Santo Pietro was built in the 10th century along the ancient Francigena roadway. This road is said to have started in Canterbury and permitted the pilgrims to reach Rome. Over the past 15 years the Mazzoni family (Olga and Ivo, with their children Veronica and Gianni) have dedicated themselves to restoring the farmstead of Santo Pietro to its antique splendor and they will be all the time at your disposal. The apartments of Santo Pietro: Bellavista, Il Portico and La Capanna, will be your home in Tuscany. From this tranquil farmstead you can easily reach the splendor this marvelous region offers or completely relax in the pool with the beauty of the surrounding nature. ... more   less
