we had dinner at the restaurant of Fattoria Poggio Alloro the last two nights of our stay in San Gimignano - we were more than happy with the experience. The starters, the primi piatti and secondi piatti were all authentic and delicious. The Pici pasta on the first night was very good, and so was the risotto as primo piatto... More

During our 10-day Tuscan trip we came here twice to have dinner. Great view and very friendly waiters - which is of course super important. But the food - mamma mia! You can expect to have about 5 different typical Tuscan starters (pastry boxes with ricotta and pears, polenta with mushrooms, various prosciuttos and salamis and so on), pasta (we... More

The people of this family owned and run farm/bed and breakfast are what make this stop head and shoulders above anything else. They are so much fun to talk with and incredibly hospitable. On top of that the view of neaby San Gimingnano is amazing as is the food and the experiences. If you want a true test of the... More

This place is amazing. My wife and I spent 3 nights here. The view, overlooking vineyards and San Gimignano, is unbelievable. The owner and staff are as warm and friendly as can be. The food is amazing...as good as we had in Italy (saying a lot). An ideal location for day trips to local cities (San Gimignano, Siena, even Florence).... More

The food and view here are fantastic. Take the pasta making class, learn the proper pronunciation of "bruschetta." The dinners were unbeliveable. They have a white wine that is incredibly affordable and taste great, especially chilled. Sara is a do everything, attention to detail person who has great knowledge of the area. This is a true family farm. As far... More

The farm is a self sustaining organic farm. The Fioroni family has a beautiful place that I stayed for a yoga retreat. The food was amazing, everyday breakfast had fresh fruit, eggs that just came from the farm that am, if you are gluten free, vegetarian they accommodate. Dinners were unbelievable, food was abundance and wine from their vineyards. The... More

We came by on a Tuesday to find out it was closed for dinner on Tuesday. However they offered us to stay and enjoy the area and we did. They told us about the wines and we enjoyed some very nice Chianti and a white wine while taking in incredible views of the area and the town of San Gimignano... More

Wonderful. Great people, food, rooms, scenery and location. The views of the vineyards, sunsets, we're breathtaking. The wines are very tastey. Sarah, gave us personal attention, we definitely felt the family owned values. Highly recommended. We can't wait to get back.

This is an organic farm on which they grow just about everything they sell you, including the food and wine. First you get a tour of the operation which is okay at best. They rush you through it because they have to put another group through the tour as well. You feel like you're on a golf course with a... More
