After getting here by rather long, dusty and dilapidated gravel road in schorching heat we felt rather down. But when we saw the place sorrounded by endless Tuscan countryside, welcomed by owners who made us feel like at home, we, well, felt somehow different. And when we dined on their locally made food and drank their wine (Torracia also makes superb wines), we felt like finding a gem hidden deep in the hills, just like Etruscan statue found just below the mansion.
And breakfast with unique locally baked bread with local antique yeast, baguettes with sliced tomatoes and freshly picked basil, fresh cheese...well, surprises never end.
Situated on the ancient pilgrim Via Francigena, one wonders how many pilgrims in past centuries passed by this place.
For the children, very nice and clean pool with a view of San Gimignano, room large, air con working flawlessly, dozens of swallow nests just in front of your room door welcoming you every morning.
SUPERB in just the every way.

This beautiful inn is at the end of a long dirt road through vineyards and other spectacular fields. The rooms are magical, the dining room and food wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's well located for exploring Tuscany but would also be great for just sitting. There are nooks and crannies that make you want to just stay.

End of the dirt road you will find this amazing authentic buildings far away from the noise and city, own by a very kind couple. Really beautiful garden, very relaxing place, breathtaking amazing view. Maria was really kind and helpfull with everything. Stefano is a great host, he gave as a tour arround the property, you need to listen what an increadible historical story behind of the creation of this agroturismo. The place has own restaurant to taste Tuscany, and Bruno work localy produced fresh ingredients in every day, recommended to have the dinner here. Own oil and winery, we had really good winetasting session.

This property is perfectly situated in Tuscany at the end of a quiet road on a hill with views in all directions. Our room was very comfortable, big, quiet and private. The food and wine are delicious and the table service is impeccable. Our family enjoyed the hour and a 1/2 walk to San Gimignano up and down hills on a path through the vineyards. We felt we had a very authentic Italian experience at Torraccia di Chiusi and we highly recommend it.

An incredible experience. A magical place full of history. The owners had the time and kindness to show us around the property and tell its stories about the Etruscan world. In addition, the cuisine was truly divine and the breakfast was very generous. It's incredibly romantic, we were served in the restaurant with the wood fire crackling. The wine was really good, but the locally produced olive oil on a piece of bread with a little salt and pepper was the icing on the cake. We had an unforgettable time and we will return with great pleasure. Many thanks for this unique and fantastic experience.

We had the best stay here and wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights. The journey there is an adventure up the gravel track and then the gates appear and you enter a place of beauty, peace and tranquility. We were welcomed so warmly and made to feel at home straight away.
The pool area is fantastic, the perfect place to cool down on a hot day and also to admire the view of San Gimignano. The agriturismo itself is stunning and has had a lot of love put into restoring it. The owner Stefano gave us a little tour and told us about the history which is absolutely fascinating! I love that the wine now sleeps in an Etruscan tomb!
We had dinner there both nights and the food is fantastic! Compliments to Bruno and the staff because the food is full of flavour and so delicious. The wines are also amazing and a great selection to choose from. The second night we asked for the Fiorentina steak which was simply the best steak either of us had ever had! Breakfast is extensive, tasty and the cakes absolutely amazing (and I love my baking).
We loved our stay, nothing was too much trouble and we felt so at home we were able to completely relax and unwind. The staff are all lovely and super helpful and the place itself sublime. We are already planning a return visit!

Torraccia di Chiusi was one of the most amazing places we stayed during our 3-week trip in Italy. As soon as we arrived, Maria the hotel manager welcomed us with open arms. Our room had a beautiful view if the Tuscany wine country and was spotless and very comfortable. We were given a tour of the property which has incredible history by Stephano the owner. We were also warmly welcomed by his wife and co-owner, Donatella. We immediately felt like family. The meals, especially dinners by Chef Bruno and wonderfully served by Giulia were the most amazing in our trip. Giulia is full of personality, always smiling and was so informative and fun. We will definitely be returning to Torraccia di Chiusi! Highly recommended!

We have been here so many times and always come back. It is a pearl, so beautiful and authetic. The team and the family, Stefano and Donatella, are so warm and welcoming that you feel at home immediately. Breakfast and dinner are wonderful, the view from the pool is amazing, and the sparkling wine is one of the best sparkling wines in Italy. Also great pinot noir and other wines. A place we will always visit again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Everyone was so kind and incredibly welcoming. The room was comfortable and the meals were memorable. The room and decor felt "classic", the pictures do not do it justice. The property is scenic with many different nooks and areas to relax indoors and outdoors. Even with multiple other families staying there, it is not hard to find your own quiet place. We were able to visit San Gimignano (just a 10 minute drive away) and hike a little bit of the Via Francigena (right next to the agriturismo). But mostly, it was the perfect place to simply relax and enjoy the Tuscan countryside.
