Torraccia di Chiusi was one of the most amazing places we stayed during our 3-week trip in Italy. As soon as we arrived, Maria the hotel manager welcomed us with open arms. Our room had a beautiful view if the Tuscany wine country and was spotless and very comfortable. We were given a tour of the property which has incredible history by Stephano the owner. We were also warmly welcomed by his wife and co-owner, Donatella. We immediately felt like family. The meals, especially dinners by Chef Bruno and wonderfully served by Giulia were the most amazing in our trip. Giulia is full of personality, always smiling and was so informative and fun. We will definitely be returning to Torraccia di Chiusi! Highly recommended!

Property's Favorite Review
This was our first time staying in an Agriturismo and I was not sure what to expect. However, from the moment that Maria welcomed us in and showed us around the property, I knew I had fallen in love with this place. The tranquility of the location was obvious as it is a bit off the grid and it is steeped in history. The accommodation is amazing. We booked a suite with a large balcony that looked towards San Gimignano. Most times I have issues with beds not being comfortable but this room was sheer heaven and I had good night sleeps consistently. While the accommodation is wonderful what really makes this property truly amazing are the owners and staff. There is a genuine sense of welcome and warmth from everyone there. From Stephano, the owner who made life so much easier for my husband who has a bad back to Julia who carried suitcases for us and delivered wine and water to us when we got lost one day and were truly exhausted and shaken on the return as well as the two chefs who made amazing meals each night and shared grappa with us after the meal, all of these people added so much to the warmth and welcoming of the property. The full breakfasts were so delicious and overseen by Stephano’s wife (wish I could remember her name to give her a thanks as well). I loved the organic approach to everything and all the care and love they put into this place. Thank you everyone for such a wonderful stay. My only regret was not booking a longer stay here to enjoy the property and the people.

This beautiful inn is at the end of a long dirt road through vineyards and other spectacular fields. The rooms are magical, the dining room and food wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's well located for exploring Tuscany but would also be great for just sitting. There are nooks and crannies that make you want to just stay.

This property is perfectly situated in Tuscany at the end of a quiet road on a hill with views in all directions. Our room was very comfortable, big, quiet and private. The food and wine are delicious and the table service is impeccable. Our family enjoyed the hour and a 1/2 walk to San Gimignano up and down hills on a path through the vineyards. We felt we had a very authentic Italian experience at Torraccia di Chiusi and we highly recommend it.

Nestled high on the hill with views of the beautiful Tuscan landscape (and San Gimignano) this agriturismo is a relaxing break from your typical bustling vacation. The location is serene, the food is good and brought to you by kind people (we loved Victoria - very sweet server who normally works in the vineyard), and the scenery is stunning. We sat and looked at the fields and hills, went for a vigorous walk to San G. (5k on the pilgrim's path, Via Francigena), enjoyed relaxing two-hour dinners, went for small day trips, and overall had a wonderful time. If you are looking for a fancy B&B this would not be a good match - some of the furnishings have seen better days - but if you want a sense of what an unhurried, abundant life can look like - this is the place! Would also like to mention that Maria at the front desk was very helpful and generous with her time.
