My wife and I made a trip through the Toscana and we stayed in several places, among them 24 hours in Pisa. We had found the Alessandro della Spina hotel on the "hrs" website and had seen the reviews at Tripadvisor which convinced us to give the hotel a try. We were not disappointed: The hotel offers spacious rooms with...

Our hotel stay at the della Spina was wonderful. Our room was spacious and the hotel is well located, near both the Pisa International airport and the Pisa Centrale Train Station. Although I made our reservations a few months in advance, our reservations were ready and our room was available. The hotel management helped with maps and directions (they were...

Stayed 2 nights. Arrived late (11:30p) and was worried about night coverage at a small hotel, but desk is staffed 24/7. Room spacious, clean; no view, some street noise. Short walk to train station - Pisa Centrale provides very good access throughout Tuscany. Very reasonable internet rates, minibar rates not exorbitant and free wifi. It was a pleasure not to...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on 2 separate occasions. the reason being we were travelling onto to Florence, so it was just a stopover. The first room we had was room 105 which contained the hardest bed we had ever slept on. It was like a slab of concrete. When we left in the morning, the guy...

I recently spent 2 nights at this hotel purely because of its location to the train station and to the airport - we spent our first night here when our flight got in late and our last night here as we had an early flight the next morning. I can honestly say the first night I had my worst night's...

This hotel served our purposes well since we were only in town overnight to see the church and tower and then fly on to London. It is well-located for those who need to use the train and/or go to airport. However, it is in a mundane part of town and has air traffic noise. Breakfast was fine, nothing exceptional, but...

A pleasant hotel, lovely big room, no view, but there are plenty of opportunities to see views in Tuscany! A good breakfast and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location is not great for the old city, but everything is just a short walk away. Fantastic location for the station, and there are so many great days out...

We spent two days in this hotel to visit Pisa and continue our trip to Florence. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price is very good including breakfast. Good choice, clean and spacious room. The hotel is in the centre, 20 minutes walking to the Pisa tower, but the wakl is nice since you go through the old...
