We have booked in the Hotel Annex Tower, and as we arrived we have been informed that the Tower has been closed since the end of October. However, staff informed us that the main building is better than the Annex. I am sorry for those who think that traveling in Italy includes some shoddy accommodation. It definitely was not bad,...

Check-in was at the hotel itself, but accommodation was located in the hotel’s annexe, located some 100 meters down the street. The annexe is literally 50 meters from the entrance to the Piazza dei Miracoli, housing the Basilica, Cathedral, Leaning Tower etc. The room was charmingly old-fashioned with a high beamed ceiling and bathroom built inside this original room. The...

Made a reservation through Expedia, but found a more convenient location for less money, so took advantage of the free cancellation. Saw it had been charged to my AmEx, and inquired with hotel directly. Got a response within minutes saying I had been charged a cancellation fee. Forwarded confirmation letter from Expedia with cancellation policy and email acknowledging cancellation within...

We stayed in the Annex which is about 1 block from the main building; but closer to the Leaning Tower. The market was just away from the front door and the Leaning Tower was about a distance of 2 blocks away! You could not ask for a more convenient hotel close to the main attractions. The staff was superb. They...

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The entire hotel is even nicer than depicted on the website. We had a large corner room facing the beautiful garden. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the "Field of Miracles". Staff gave us great suggestions for restaurants. We wanted to go to Lucca for the day and the hotel shuttle took us...

We stayed in their extra large room (sleeps 4 - 1 queen, 2 singles) on top floor of the Annex (separate part of hotel located right at the gateway to the Pisa Tower area). Room was clean and comfortable and secure. Excellent location, free parking at the main hotel (about 3 minutes walk), very good breakfast (hot and cold). Very...

I stayed two nights here I switched rooms the second night as my first room was on the street side and a bit noisy. The second night o faced the garden in the back. Much quieter. The rooms are nicely appointed and I was comfortable. The location is ideal as close to the Campo Dei Miracoli as possible and the...

They gave us the worst room in the hotel which probably at one time was a loft. The room was very smelly (can't breath). The doorways were not tall enough, we kept hurting our head (very painful). The shower was also very smelly and difficult to use as a bathroom. However, other rooms in the hotel are very good.

Hotel Pisa Tower is a small, old style hotel just 5 minutes walk from the tower. The room are clean but a little bit old fashioned - lots of dark wood. Beds are comfortable and there is free wi-fi. Bathrooms are (at least mine was) small. Staff are friendly (many are Phillipino) and they offer a taxi service to the...
