No lunch served and no bar at lunchtime. Rooms were very tired and badly in need of refurbishment .Rooms are also very small. Staff were pleasant and quite helpful. I would think more of a three star hotel.

We had no complaints about our over night stay here. The room was clean, the bathroom was pretty luxurious & the decor was old but beautiful. Hotel staff were really pleasant & helpful. The breakfast was worth getting up early for with such a good selection - we were literally spoilt for choice. I would recommend to anyone on a...

We had a very unfriendly welcome and this hotel is extremely tired so our arrival was very disappointing especially as we had paid extra for a room upgrade. I cannot understand its 5 star status. The cost to park your hire car in the hotel car park is €25/day but only €15/day on the street outside. Shouldn't it be the...

I really enjoyed the stay here in Italy. We used it as a base camp really as we were travelling to a different City each day and returning late at night. I think its a bit harsh to not claim this as a five star, yes the rooms may look a little old but isn't that what Italy is about?...

This hotel is in a great location only 3 minute walk from touristy area of Leaning Tower of Pisa. Shabby chic decor. Friendly staff at front desk. Room was clean and well designed. Bathroom was beautiful! The breakfast was poor for a hotel with 5 stars - buffet only and no staff about to take us to a table, explain...

We found and booked this hotel via an online travel agency, so at least the rate was good. So was the hotel location, but that is pretty much it. It is a 5 star hotel but I have stays in much better 4 star hotels. Our room was quite small, and there were spider webs hanging from the wood beams....

The best part about my stay here was that my room was on the 1st floor. Room wi-fi was non-existant and breakfast service was disorganized and poorly staffed. If you decide to stay here, DO NOT eat at the hotel restaurant; it was the 1st time I ever had disgusting risotto in Italy.

I don't want to annoy any other fellow reviewers with my comments but what must the standards of people giving this hovel any more than a 1* rating and that's for the location only. Other than that this should be an unrated property. Not shabby chic just a grotty hole of a place. I always book 4 star minimum as...

We only stayed for one night but this was a decent hotel although there seemed to be a shortage of staff when we were there. The breakfast was average. Close to the leaning tower which was handy. Based on our experience, we would rate this as a 3 star hotel.

First, realise that Pisa on reflection is not, or rather should not be, considered as a destination. Once you realise that you will understand that Pisa hospitality is fairly poor. Relais dell'Orologio lives up to this tradition. Frankly, breakfast isn't worth the effort. Nothing about it is outstandingly bad, but by the same tocken nothing is particularly good. You might...
