Staying in Villa Anna Maria has been a truly unique experience. A privilege! As some people has mentioned, it is not for minimalists. But for those who wish to experience something completely different, personal and with tons of atmosphere, this is it. I felt like I was walking around in an Wes Anderson movie. We were a family of two...

Villa Ana Maria is about more than just the comfort of a place. It's about a piece of history. There is a treasure hiding in every corner. If you're looking to stay in a modern villa, this is not the right villa for you. If you are looking for charm, tradition, history served with a dash of Claudio, the eccentric...

There's no doubt the villa is grand. As you arrive you are impressed by the sheer size. The garden did make me feel like I was on the set of Jumanji though, tropical and a bit out of control. The villa has a lot of quirky pieces that from other reviews I can see people find endearing. I found them...

If you are looking for something special, this is the place you are looking for. The spirit in the place is indescribable, as it is neatly mixed from handcraft in form of several collections, from garden full of surprises and Claudio- man who makes you feel like you are visiting relative, whom you'd like to invite also visit your place....

I Stayed in Villa Anna Maria with few of my friends for a few days this summer. We had really good time there. The atmosphere is magic, as soon as you enter the gate of the Villa it cuddles you with its particular spirit. The garden is full of incredible plants, and Villa itself offers you experience you will not...

Forget what you think a "villa" is. This building packed with curiosities and art, its incredible rambling gardens and wonderful host are nothing like anything you'll find anywhere else in the world. It's an experience not just a place to stay and an experience I ADORED! The building is full of incredible objets d'art, books, music, collectibles, art, sculpture, music,...

Villa Anna Maria is a real find of a retreat in a glorious part of Tuscany between Pisa and lovely Lucca - very handy for the annual Torre Del Lago Puccini Opera Festival. It's a joyous place, packed with owner Claudio's crazy collections of treasures, offering endless ways to amuse and amaze. The rooms are spacious and full of character...

Villa Anna Maria, also known as Villa de Lanfranchi was a complete surprise and delight to me! This is the ideal place for a house party...Having stayed in many rental villas, this magical villa was such a change from usual villas. It has the owners' touch indelibly stamped upon it-indeed it is his home and the rooms are crammed with...

A magical place – we love it! Villa Anna Maria is conveniently situated in the charming village of Molina di Quosa on a quiet road between the towns of Pisa and Lucca. The village itself has amongst others delicatessen, bar and restaurants close by. From the moment that you enter via the wrought iron electric gates you are transported into...

We stayed at this villa earlier this summer and it was absolutely fantastic. The house itself is stunning and an extremely rare find. I would say the villa dates from about 18th/19th century so the size of the rooms and windows reflects this. They have all been restored with original features, complete with large shutters for the windows and some...
