We were looking for a hotel for one night's stay in Pisa due to an early-ish flight at the end of our trip to Italy. After checking out the reviews on TA, we went with the Bologna. The location of the hotel is pretty good. There's plenty of activity right near the hotel and you're looking at a pleasant fifteen...

We booked Hotel Bologna via the internet for our stay in Pisa. The service via email, on arrival and during our stay was excellent. The room was immaculately clean and for 90 euros per night including breakfast was great value. I requested two beds as I was travelling with my 14 year old son and got two bedrooms which as...

Ok so lets get the negative over first - yeh ok, the room was a bit small but we have paid a lot more in other parts of the world for as small and even smaller rooms! Now for the positives - our bedroom was spotlessly clean and remained so during our entire visit (4days) with crisp clean bed linen...

Maybe we had been spoilt by the Continentale Hotel in Florence, but I would not rate this hotel as a 4*. The room was quite small and the decor was a combination of orange, yellow, dark green and lime green, which made it feel even more closed in. However, it was clean and comfortable enough for our one night stay....

I travel in Italy a lot. An awful lot and this is one of the best hotels I've ever used. Perfect position, excellent staff, spotless and a very comfy bed and all for an excellent price.

This hotel, as mentioned by others, is a great location 5 mins walk in one direction from the town, 5 minutes in the other from the railway station. The airport is only 5/10 minutes in a taxi at 9Euro. Lovely friendly hotel though I am surprised not many reviewers have mentioned the breakfasts which I found excellent with a wide...

The hotel is well located for the tower and the local shops. The room was clean and big enough for the two of us, the en-suite was a good size too. The breakfast buffet was very good indeed with a nice choice of food and drinks, but the best thing for us was the very helpful and pleasant staff especially...

We chose this hotel based on positive reviews on Tripadvisor and Expedia. As other reviews mentioned noise, I asked for a quiet room and we were not disappointed. Our triple room was a good size, and backed onto a couryard. The bathroom was a little small, but perfectly adequate. Room was spotless and had the usual amenities. Buffet breakfast was...

Hotel Bologna is perfectly situated for all sightseeing in and around Pisa. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The facilities are clean and with not a bad word to say we would recommend this hotel for a short or long stay. Florence is only a cheap trip on the train, taking an hour to get there. Don't forget to visit...
