Yes, like other reviews mention this hotel does need lick of paint. I imagine 20-30 years or so ago it would have been very lavish but has started to deteriorate. However, the room was clean, nice hot shower, fridge in room - new towels and...More
The room was priced right, clean and gets the job done! Not to mention, the breakfast was amazing. All you can eat hot and cold foods.
Great location as well. 10 mins from the Pisa tower. Restaurants were right ouside just steps away.

Yes, there is a lift. If I remember, there are five floors altogether. breakfast was vast--catering to both Italian, German, British, and U.S. preferences. The surrounding streets are mostly pedestrian-only zones, so there is no road noise. It would depend on what guests were partying. Even with a "do" on the terrace restaurant, there would be not much noise pollution, if any. You could probably arrange for a late check out, but would have to leave your luggage downstairs in an area of the lobby. The desk staff would call a cab for you, by the way, since there is no car traffic on the street in front of the hotel.
