If you want authentic Tuscan food away from the tourist restaurants in Pisa then you won't be disappointed in this place. Excellent food especially the lobster tagliatelle and the wild boar with polenta. Yummy

First thing first. If you are coming to Pisa to see the Tower then this is the last place to stay. It is in the middle of nowhere. It's close to the airport but you cannot walk to it as there is a motorway in between. We came on a late flight from Stansted airport. We thought we will get...

I can't comment on the standard of accommodation all I can tell you is we had problems on our first night. We booked through booking.com - The hotel kept asking me for a "valid" credit card. I provided this 3 times. AMEX have said no attempt was made to take the money. When we landed in Pisa the hotel sent...

The hotel offered Great service, excellent hospitality and nice, clean rooms! The style was completely medieval and puts you in the Toscany mood. The location of the place is totally central- a few blocks from piazza dei milacoli!

Beautiful rooms and absolutely perfect location for visiting Pisa. BUT the place is without aircon so don't stay there in the hottest months (we stayed visited the place in the beginning of august and it was much too hot).

The hotel is located just in the heart of old Pisa, few steps from the Piazza di Miracoli and the Tower, few steps from the Piazza Cavalieri and also very close to the Arno river and the bridge. The room was clean and spacious enough for the short stay. Nice bathroom and comfy bed. There was no air-con in our...

Somewhat hidden away on the first floor of a 19th century building, but only 5-10 minutes stroll away from the Tower and Duomo, this lovely family run hotel is very welcoming and a great base for exploring Pisa and other nearby towns e.g. Lucca is only about 30 mins by train. Great to wake up to frescoes on the ceiling!...

Great location free wifi rooms quite spacious, bathroom ok but shower door kept falling off, staff not too helpful could have done more, told us we had to check out by 9am not sure why, no breakfast had started by 9am so not sure what time they start serving that, no offer of food for us with us having to...

Hotel Galileo is situated on Via St Maria in Pisa. I'd originally been trying to book another hotel with a similar name. At the end of a holiday with an early flight next day I just thought I needed a bed. I was delighted by my error. This gem is housed on th e first floor of a restored palazzo...

The hotel is very centrally located in a nice old building. The room was good and clean, wifi reception in the room was good. The bed was very hard. The staff were very friendly and gave us many useful tips on arrival regarding restaurants and bars. Opposite the hotel is a nice café, Filter Coffee Lab, where we had a...

“The double bed was unfortunately 2 single beds pushed together so maybe don't use this stay to try and catch up on sleep. Great for a flying visit though.”

“Big old building, with no lift. Hotel on second floor. Some suites face the road, but once the windows and shutters are closed, noise cannot be heard. Suites were adequate although simple. No air conditioner, but there is a fan. Beware, mosquitos.”
