Had a very nice time here. Climbed on top which took about 15 mins. amazing views form the Top. Its is essentially a bell tower which was made in haste without a proper foundation which resulted into the leaning part.

Hard to believe it is still standing! There isn't a lot to see in Pisa, so we were told not to waste our time. We went anyhow as our young Children were told about it In school. Glad we did. The monument is very clean and interesting to see. Quick drive, basically a busy highway right to Pisa, about 1... More

It was alright, I suppose. In the past, we have always chosen to visit Florence. Still lots of friends have been to Pisa, so we decided to give it a go, We were on a tour from our cruise ship, the Royal Princess. $89:00. Never again. The tour description said, "ten minutes walking from coach park to Leaning Tower". Took... More

Very silent city, few choice of restaurants. It is best for a stop over town not even worth staying the night, just to pop in see the leaning town cathedral and may be the museum and then hop back on the train and head to you next destination (Perhaps Florence)

Although we did not stay in Pisa the town itself was very clean and the local people take a great pride in their city. The day we visited it was very busy but we had a guided tour of the main sites and then plenty of time to explore. We were glad that we did not include Florence in the... More

This is an accessible place to get to. We were on a cruise docking at Livorno and took a train to Pisa which is round about 40mins. On leaving the train station directly opposite you will be able to get a bus to the Leaning Tower, just follow the crowd and you will know when to exit the bus. Cross... More

This attraction is a must see. It really is an awesome sight. Was easy to walk round and is easily accessible if you have any walking difficulties. Lots of souvenir stalls to browse around. An excellent days sightseeing.

We took from the bus park a Brilliant little train tour of Pisa and then on to the famous tower that we all learn about at school it was very busy great for taking photo and I was so surprised how "white" clean it looked along with the church next to it . I expected it to be in the... More

Have been to Italy several times but never visited Pisa as many say it's hoakie BUT we trained there from cinque Terre last week and were so pleased we did. The tower is amazing. White carrera marble. A work of art. You can buy tickets to climb it and there is a specific wait time assigned to you so no... More

This should be on your bucket list . Make sure you book to climb before your visit so not climb unless your fit as it steep the floor is shiny and you are disorientated due to the lean . The view from above is great but you do have limited time . Lots of little restaurants around the tower which... More
