This is an amazing way to experience traditional Tuscany. Hotel Fabbrica di San Martino is tucked away in the countryside a short drive from Lucca and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. This villa and farmhouse were a fantastic find and I really recommend a visit. The owner, Giovanna, gave us a tour of the villa and told us all the... More

My husband, two teenage daughters and I stayed in one of the apartments in Fabbrica di San Martino for 5 nights in mid-June. We had a wonderful time. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable and the views from it (we were on the first floor) were stunning. We treated ourselves to breakfast every day and it was such a... More

Set in the gorgeous countryside, with breath taking views both from our suite and the veranda you have breakfast. Breakfast was very nice, very generous. Served at the main house on the porch with views of the countryside and vineyard. The owners are sure to provide you what you need/prefer. The little cakes filled with chocolate were our favourite. It... More

Drove up and down via pieve S. Sanfano trying to find the location until we finally found a dirt side road with a small sign indicating the location. Only problem was there was a chain barricade that blocked our car from entering. So we walked down the dirt to house number 2511 where we were greeted at the driveway with... More

My replay is very simple: I didn't meet who wrote this review as they arrived at the first building on the road to get here where there is a private house with name and surname of the owner. I don't understand how they could write a review about a place that they didn't see and where they didn't stay at... More

My partner and I concluded a two week trip to Tuscany with a three night stay at Fabricca di San Martino. Giovanna and Giuseppe were exceptional hosts! We stayed in one of the apartments in the farmhouse and found it restful and delightful. The furnishings were "rustic Tuscan," exactly what one might anticipate in a "farmhouse." While we had no... First of all this is not a hotel. It is a small bed and breakfast with only a few rooms. We stayed in the larger suite in farmhouse and I though it was an excellent value for how nice the property was. It was quaint, clean and very spacious. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived for... More

My daughter, wife and I stayed here during the hot July last year for 3 nights. Had a fantastic stay. The owners are so welcoming and helpful, we felt immediately at home. This property is genius in a number of ways... 1. Breakfast on the front patio area looking out to the tuscan hills.. The food beautifully presented and deliciously... More

Super dog friendly, this villa has a beautiful view of the countryside and unobtrusively delivers a variety of foods to enjoy for breakfast. Try their red wine - delicious! If you want to enjoy the area with a car, this is a terrific quiet location to day hop from.

To celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and my wife's %% birthday, we booked a 7 night stay at Fabbrica di San Martino along with our travel mates Gary and Donna. We rented the top floor of the farmhouse adjacent to the Villa. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, kitchen, dining room and 3 living rooms was certainly more than adequate for our stay.... More

Absolutely gorgeous location, however be careful with specific directions, if driving, as it is only accessible by car. Also that means, for evening dining you need to drive into Lucca ,or, head to local restaurants within easy access. Although road at night is dark. Accommodation was very comfortable, all needs catered for, the morning breakfast was really nicely done. Being... More
