This was one of our best picks ever, we couldn't fault it. Lovely staff, wonderful Bijoux the poodle, typically Italian room, and good breakfasts. We stayed here for a week, it was ideal to just stroll into Lucca in the morning, or to drive to the autostrada to visit Florence etc. Please try it, you won't be disappointed.

The hotel is charming and very comfortable. Patrizia and Anna, who run the hotel, were both friendly, welcoming and helpful. They also helped me to celebrate my birthday in style! There was a good breakfast buffet, with plenty of choice. The location is only a 10 minute walk to the historical centre of Lucca. There are also frequent buses to...

We stayed three nights, and had a wonderful time. It's clean, the owner is a wonderful woman whom is very helpful. The location is walking distance to Lucca, and also has a bus stop across the street. Breakfast is in a sunny room.

Beautiful, charming, homestyle accommodation. Very close to historic centre. Rooms are spacious with large modern bathrooms. Patrizia, Anna (and Bijou!) provide warm and friendly service - nothing is too much trouble. Great breakfast buffet!!

Good hotel about a 5-10 minute easy walk out of the main walled area along a flat street that has some restaurants and a good ice cream shop. There is also an24hr vending machine style shop along the way which is useful as nowhere in the hotel to buy drinks/snacks after 9pm. Due to not wanting to walk in the...

This hotel was in a good location close to the walled city. We caught a bus just inside the walls to Pisa and it was not too far to walk from the hotel to the bus stop. Parking was easy in the front garden area. The breakfast in the new alfresco dining room was quite nice. The staff were helpful...

This is a great hotel, nice and clean and only a short walk from the city center. The rooms have an ok size, aircon og nice bathroom. The breakfast was nice. They have an elevator, and parking outside the hotel.

First impressions, what a gorgeous looking hotel! Parking just outside, which is great! Reception and staff very lovely and very helpful. You cannot check in till after 3pm as there are no staff around. We arrived early and where given a map and happy to take a walk towards the town! Plenty of cafes and shops around if you don't...

Visited this beautiful ancient walled city from Florence. Absolutely divine place with ancient narrow streets, small piazzas and shops. Is incredibly clean and tidy with lots of shopping options. The narrow lanes afford plenty of shade even in hot weather. Was easy to get to - trains run regularly from Florence with tickets costing 7.50 euros each way
