We spent 2 nights there, the room was nice and well furnished, but the mattress was really hard. The breakfast was good with a nice choice of homemade tarts ... the first morning I woke up with the smell of the tarts :). I would definitely come back ... but an advise to the direction please change for a softer...

Ciao Domenico, many thanks for your kind words. It is always nice to see that we are doing a good job. About the matress, you gave us a good advice and a smart idea. When you'll be back in Lucca and you'll sleep with us, you'll find a softer bed for sure. Many thanks again, we are looking forward to...

I'm posting an update following my stay in June 2016 and a review I wrote. I mentioned a minor issue I had and they got straight back to me and were fantastic in resolving it professionally and quickly. If you stay here you can be assured of a fantastic hotel with great customer service.

A last minute find so not much choice of rooms but it was spacious and comfortable and the employees were helpful and kind. Breakfast was decent and worth it, offering choices of baked goods, juices, meats, cheeses, etc.

O hotel é super confortável, muito bem localizado e aconchegante! Os funcionários são super simpáticos e prestativos, com destaque para a Claudia! The hotel is pretty good and comfortable, located in the heart of Lucca! The staff is very friendly and helpful, mainly Claudia ( she received us in a quite friendly and sweet manner)!

We stayed here for one night en route to Florence. The hotel is very well located for the railway station, 10 minutes easy walk away straight through the nearest city gate. Located on a quiet street just a narrow alley away from one of the many busy squares, it is a great location. The front of the hotel looks inviting,...

Beautiful boutique hotel within the city walls. The hotel is close to the main centre, restaurants and attractions. The staff and management were exceptional, rooms were spacious, my bathroom was well appointed with an updated bathroom which included a jacuzzi. The breakfasts were fresh and generous. Our stay in Lucca was certainly enhanced by staying in this friendly welcoming hotel.

Albergo San Martino is on a small side street off of Corso Guiseppe Garibaldi, inside the city wall- a little hard to find but well worth the search. The hotel staff were very welcoming and eager to share their knowledge of the city, giving several recommendations of what to do and where to eat on our 1 1/2 day visit...

This is one of those places that you would never find without trip advisor. Enjoyed a 3 night stay here which we enjoyed immensely. Decent size rooms with modern bathrooms all spotlessly clean and fantastic breakfasts. But the real gem of this place is the fantastic team of young staff that run this place. Highly professional, yet wonderfully friendly with...

This was a very nice hotel for us, just inside the city walls, and tucked away on a side street, which made it less noisy. The rooms are quite large, and the bathrooms are very modern. The rooms have high ceilings with big shutters that can be opened and closed. We thought our large bed was very comfortable, but that...
