This hotel has great staff, an excellent private beach club and a PADI dive centre. Sure the rooms are basic but they are immecably clean and a nice restaurant with another 50 metres off of the property. Excellent value to be sitting on the Italian coast.

Bad first: The hotel is definitely dated but clean none the less. The main bad is actually the area instead. The hotel is not in Livorno. There is nothing close by other than a fish restaurant. To get into livorno you need to get on the bus (very reasonably priced) for about 20 mind. Livorno is quite a run down... More

Stayed at this hotel as we attended a seminar held at the Zen Club. Fabulous rooms and staff. All were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a typical continental and was very good, even had a good cup of tea! Meal were fine and plentiful. The Congress dinner dance was held at the top floor main dining area which has... The good: Frendly reception (realy good) Parcking The view. Nice hotel bech The bad: Old rooms and nothing special. Poor brackfast. Only if you travel with car and just need a place to stay. The hotel is out of city but again it is good if you stay on your trip on car.

We had expected to spend more time here, but due to driving mishaps, arrived in mid-afternoon, not nearly enough time to enjoy this little seaside resort. While it is true that it is not glitzy, it is beyond basic. Actually it was all we wanted-inexpensive, clean, friendly, seaside relaxation, bar and restaurant. We had dinner at the "rooftop" restaurant, and... More

The hotel is dated, but perfectly sufficient and comfortable. We enjoyed the sea views from the balcony in our room, and the sound of the sea at night, otherwise very quiet! A perfect way to relax for a couple of days, as it's not even necessary to leave the grounds. Umbrellas and loungers are included in the room price, so... More

Livorno is not a very attractive town, a busy working port but not a destination. For me it was an overnight stop driving from the South of France to Rome. The photos of this hotel have you dreaming of a room overlooking the sea. What you get is a room overlooking an urban streetscape and railway line. Having cleared away... More

The room was OK but not really four star. I requested that they emptied the mini bar and they refused. The paint was peeling on the balcony dividers and the chairs (no cushions) were the cheapest plastic. All the staff were very good, especially the waiters on the sun terrace bar/restaurant. But again it was three star not four. There... More

The room was somewhat musty but too be expected with the age. The rooms are a little older and the bedding was a bit scratchy but it wasn't the worst. Everything in there could use an update. Once you opened the patio and let some air in, it was great. We were there in September and it was hot. We... More
