Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favorite
I spent hours researching hotels in Florence combing through hundreds of reviews. This hotel lived up to the all of the positive reviews in every aspect. The hotel is a $10 taxi ride from the train station or a 20 minute walk. The impecable hospitality began the moment we arrived. Blerina was so gracious and let us check-in early since the room was ready. The room had high ceilings with a Tuscan mural. It was beautiful and a delightfully cool temperature. They have the fridge full of options to drink at grocery store prices, which was so convenient. The hotel is conveniently located to literally everything. Fortunately for me, even the hospital. I had a terrible bicycle accident on a Tuscany tour and Blerina went above and beyond to help care for me. We will never forget this amazing hotel or Blerina. You will be lucky if Firenze Suite is available; do not hesitate to book.

The rooms look exactly like the pictures, if not better. The style of the place feels very authentic and ties in well with the history of the city. Very spacious and good amenities within the rooms.
The location is ideal, a quiet street under 10 minutes walk from the main attractions (Duomo, David etc) and being on a side street means no noise from restaurants/cars/foot traffic.
The hostess/owner was very welcoming and accommodating, helping us with local recommendations and any arrangements we needed (taxi/ATM) etc. she was always in reach of contact via WhatsApp.
Would recommend to anyone visiting Florence.

Espectacular! I Felt like a princess living in a beautiful castle! All details are so carefully taking care off. The room is spacious, comfortable, with a kitchen, the mattress and pillow are amazing, so comfortable. The bathroom has great water pressure, water is hot quickly. The staff is always available for absolutely anything and they were so friendly. Amazing price/quality! best price for all the beauty and confort that you get.
2 min walk from the domo, and close to all attractions. I took the train from the airport and then walk 10 minutes to the hotel.
100% recommended !!

These suites are located on a quiet street that is less than 10 minutes walk from the Duomo, Accademia, and other key sights. It's hard to find a place that is both central and quiet in Florence! The suite was extremely large and spacious, with lovely paintings on the wall. The bathroom was oddly small, but it was OK. I didn't fully appreciate before coming that this isn't really a hotel, it's a collection of suites in a building with no other amenities. That was fine because the person who manages the place was very helpful with things like maps/directions and getting a taxi, but it's not going to be a full hotel experience if that's what you're looking for. Make sure you have WhatsApp so you can communicate with Blerina, the manager.

My wife and I spent a couple of nights here and loved it. As owners of an historic hotel ourselves, we are always looking for hotels that feel like the city in which it is located. So many hotels these days are just so plain, and lacking in character, that when one is inside one of those hotels you feel almost shielded from the local feel and culture of the city. Not so with the Firenze Suites. It is so full of the charm and character of old Florence, that it just enhances the experience of being in such a historical city.
Add to that, the staff is accommodating, friendly, and helpful with advice or information on where to eat or what to see. The room is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences one could want, every thing is clean and comfortable, and lastly, the location is great for walking to any of the sights in the city. We are planning to come back again, and would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking for something more than just the usual type of hotel. If you want to really experience Florence is a nice way, this is the place.

Honestly, I don't understand why this hotel has good comments mostly !! We stayed for 2 nights in "deluxe double room" from 09th to 11th of April, 2024. On their own website, it's marked 4 stars hotel. If you expect the services and facilities of "real" 4 stars hotel, it's definitely not the place you look for.
The host insisted us to pay the city tax in cash (5.5 EUROS/night per person) not by credit card. She took the cash in her own bag in front of us which is not professional... There is no proper luggage storage service. After checking-out, we had to leave our 2 bags next to the host's desk in the open area on the floor. No security !!! And if you get used to the courtesy of "real" 4 stars hotel, you would be very surprised by the host in this hotel.
The "deluxe double room" was very Italien style and clean. However, it's quite dark on the ground floor, we couldn't open the window for the security as the room is located just right next to the street. There were some insects in our room for whole staying.
For our 15th of wedding anniversary, we were very disappointed for our experience. I regret for my choice. If you have any opinions concerning to my comment, you are very welcome !!

We found this location on the internet and fell for the beautiful romantic decoration. It’s a marvelous place where you can feel like the Medici.
But that’s not all: the owner is absolutely charming, the location is right in the heart of the old city center in a silent street and the breakfast around the corner is amazing.
Warmly recommended as base to explore Florence.

Outstanding Hotel in close walking distance to the heart of Florence. We were in three countries for twenty two days and this was by far the best room. It's on a quiet street that was minutes away from a much needed self laundry service, small grocery store and fantastic dining spots and pubs. Blerina owns this small family hotel and was extremely helpful arranging transportation and giving us directions to the sites. Our well decorated room was the only large room we stayed in on this trip and it had a good size refer to store drinks and a great coffee maker.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. I booked the hotel based on the reviews. Yes, the hotel is conveniently located. Yes, the hotel was reasonably priced. Yes, the hotel was very clean. HOWEVER, it was a very uncomfortable stay. The bed was a like sleeping on a brick. I have never experienced such a hard bed in my life. If you like a hard bed, this is your place. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Also, they advertise individual A/C units. This was another reason I booked the hotel. I like it cold. Yet, the minute I walked into this stuffy hotel lobby, I knew it was a lie. While the rooms have individual units, you cannot turn on the A/C until April (according to one of the receptionists). They did provide a fan, which helped. They also provided mosquito repellent so we could open the windows. Lastly, there was no breakfast. I appreciated the communication via email and WhatsApp during my stay. For example, I needed a taxi early in the morning before the reception opened and they booked it the day before. I stepped outside at 7am and the taxi was waiting.

Stayed 3 nights here while visiting florence. Beautiful hotel. Blalena who manages the hotel was more than helpful in arranging rest, tours or selecting local wines. 5 star room and service at a great price. Will definitely return on my next visit.
