Above all of my picky expectations!
Private. Beautiful. Very clean.
Some might think that the location of this hotel is a bit too far from the Piazza del Duomo. However there is an organized shuttle bus straight from the door of the hotel to the piazza Della Repubblica, almost every hour until the evening.
Personally I enjoy walking back, after the best dinners from the local restaurants, suggested by the unbelievable Concierge team. Taking the fact that hotel is only 15 minutes away from the Santa Maria del Fiore, it is an amazing walk with beautiful views to the perfectly prepared bed.

This is a remarkable hotel which enhanced our wonderful visit in Florence. If it were possible to rank a hotel at more than 5 stars, this would be it. The room was most comfortable, very quiet, large and excellently appointed in all ways, with a marvelous view of the extensive grounds (called the 'garden'). The services were superb from all individuals, with great restaurant reservations made by the concierge. We saw it as an advantage to be outside of the exact center of Florence, but all the sites were within a 10 to 20 minute walk. Of course, for such an excellent and luxurious hotel, the prices are expensive, which must be realized. But this wonderful hotel is a reason to return to Florence once again, all on its own.

I have stayed at many Four Seasons properties and I have to say, the Firenze property did not disappoint. It was my first trip travelling abroad during COVID so I was already feeling very anxious about it all but the minute I arrived at the Four Seasons, I felt at ease. They have gone above and beyond to ensure their guests feel safe. The property is a beautiful property and as soon as you enter, you have the pleasure of seeing the beautiful courtyard. I loved the character of the hotel. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure every request of ours was met. The gardens are beautiful and well manicured. The location of the hotel is around a 10 minute walk away from the centre of Florence which is perfect as you can bee away from the hustle and bustle in the evening. Thank you to the fabulous team at the Four Seasons for making our stay wonderful.

This sprawling hotel in Florence has to be the most comfortable place to stay in the entire city. The furnishings, room size, amenities and staff make for a magical experience.
The restaurant Il Palagio left me feeling elevated mentally and spiritually. Gastronomically I was pleased and satisfied.
The level of customer service is world class. Present but not overbearing. My room was always attended to in such a way that I felt like a good friend was taking care of me in my own home.

I recently stayed at the Four Seasons and had a very enjoyable stay for the week I was there.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful palazzo with Renaissance architecture, intricate ceilings and art to be seen every corner you look. The central lobby of the hotel with the magnificent statue, luxurious furnishings and all the wonderful shops that line the corridors with is most impressive.
The bar is always a perfect place to be. Comfortable luxury furniture, great cocktails and live music daily. The vintage negroni is a must.
The gardens are beautifully kept and are such a peaceful thing to look at from your room and to walk in, especially after a busy day in the centre of the city.
The rooms of the hotel have large marble bathrooms with separate marble clad shower rooms and separate toilet and bidet rooms. Some even have a roll top bath with large windows which can open up with views across the lovely gardens. My particular room also had a spectacular view of the Duomo, which was unexpected. The rooms themselves, besides the bathrooms, perhaps could do with a little renovation to bring it more up to date but nothing too drastic as the classical design is perfect for such an historical building in such an historical city.
Breakfast was always of a very high standard, with perfect pastries and eggs with the most wonderful bright yolks.
Service is always attentive and friendly.
Despite some reviews of this hotel, I found the hotel to be pleasantly central, with the duomo and Piazza della Signoria a leisurely stroll away. Yet the hotel is on the edge of the centre enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the acres of garden and the sounds of fountains and birds tweeting, it’s really quite tranquil.
The Four Seasons in Florence is certainly the best option for a hotel in the city and I look forward to returning in the future.
I thoroughly recommend this beautiful hotel for anyone visiting Florence.

This hotel has been on my wishlist for a while and we decided to finally book a 4 night stay to relax and enjoy the property and city. This was our first time in a Four Seasons resort and I have feeling we will be staying at a lot of Four Seasons in the future. This hotel let me rephrase this ,this Palace is a dream come true. Service was superb everyone was kind and ready to help at all times. But what makes this property so special is the grounds and details. The immaculately well kept gardens are stunning and we enjoyed our daily walks in the afternoon after a dip in the pool. I LOVED that even the gardens and hand sanitizer smelled of Dr. Vranjes. There are beautiful works of art everywhere. The ceilings are ornate and beautiful. There beautiful and important paintings and sculptures everywhere. It's like staying in a museum. We ate at the hotel a lot from room service to lunch at the pool and everything was delicious. The only complaint is the the Saffron risotto was so good that we wish the plate was bigger. This is a hotel you want to come and enjoy. What a beautiful place cant wait to return soon!

I love Florence but this was absolutely unacceptable from @fsflorence having previously worked at Four Seasons! Mouldy fruit on day 1, mouldy cucumbers on day 2.. mouldy fruit on the last day and a dead fly on the lettuce! And they charged €60 for the packed lunch salad with dead fly on it 🙀
We stayed here in September 2016 for a wedding it was amazing!
This time the pool was under construction and we weren’t notified, the bedding was all synthetic, the quality and service was not that of a Four Seasons Hotel and we had 3 rooms. All of us had the exact same experiences to the point we had to start eating out
I know Covid has been tough on businesses, but Four Seasons is a 5 star ⭐️ hotel charging ridiculous rates and then economising on quality. It used to be our favourite hotel, but after a week there we couldn’t even look at the food anymore and just wanted to leave! Please be wary if you go there and check everything 🙏🏻 We complained on numerous occasions, showed the photos and even the actual mould. This does not pass a health inspection if there was one
I would be very vigilant of any food served to you, their orange juice was fresh on a few days and the last day was out of a carton. They didn’t even offer a decent discount but to be honest, nothing could really take back this awful experience

This is one of the finest four seasons(and hotels) I’ve experienced. Staff are friendly and helpful and the service is incredible. Room and facilities are excellent. Breakfast and brunch were both worthwhile. Concierge can accommodate any request and were able to get us all our preferred reservations for dinner. The gym and spa are also just outstanding. The 11 acre private garden is stunning to walk through during the day or in the evening.

This hotel is absolute perfection. I echo others in saying we had a flawless stay. The hotel has the perfect balance of gorgeous historic architecture and furnishings but with fully modern amenities and meticulous upkeep. There is not a scuff mark, ding, or dust anywhere and the intricate design details and gardens are amazing. Service was outstanding throughout our stay, particularly from the doormen, front desk staff and housekeeping. They recognized us, always greeted us warmly and anticipated our needs. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel gave us several personalized surprises in our room that truly wowed us. Room service was wonderful and breakfast in the restaurant was also delicious. We were very happy to use the convenient free shuttle to get in/out of the historic center nearly every day. When we booked our Florence trip we split our vacation between the Four Seasons and St Regis and, in retrospect, we were sorry we switched hotels. At the St Regis we kept comparing it to the Four Seasons and, while very nice and less costly, it did not come close to the amazing level of the Four Seasons. Yes, the Four Seasons is expensive but we felt it was worth every penny. We have stayed at a number of Four Seasons, including Maui, but this one has truly topped them all.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel—through check-in, breakfast and meals, pool service, room service, and concierge—we were warmly welcomed and treated majestically.
All staff teams were brilliant, warm, discrete, and genuine with can-do and can-help attitudes. The chambermaids were the most thorough and professional we have ever encountered in our global travels over many years.
Maintaining the current standards of service, which are of the highest level, will ensure the Four Seasons in Florence, with its magnificent gardens, grounds, and facilities, remains a globally outstanding and unbeatable oasis in a city steeped in history, culture, and vibrancy.
Very well done to management and staff and our sincerest appreciation.
