One of the most exciting steps of the history of Florence can be found in this 13th Century tower, only survivor of the four towers which once defended each corner of the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Now turned into a luxurious unique accommodation offering two suites and a fully equipped SPA. The tower, once owned by the Mannelli family, who in 1565 opposed the construction of the Vasari Corridor, whi

We stayed a week in the two level suite late June 2018. Location location location. What a fantastic way to feel local and celebrity with the best view of the city. Breakfast on the patio sevens stories up overlooking historic Firenze. Positioned on the river front. Every day was inspiring and every evening felt like home. The staff was able to accommodate our late arrival, and every other whim we needed. For home away from home, we will definitely return to this accommodation. 100%.

We stayed for one night in June and the villa itself is amazing with bathroom/gym on lower floor and entire top floor with private terrace upstairs. The location and views are unbeatable. The bathroom could be slightly larger however given the layout of the property it is not an issue.

My husband and I stayed at the Mannelli Suite for two nights on our babymoon. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed at (and we travel a lot) in terms of quality vs. price, location, and the overall vibe. Milva, the manager, was very accommodating. The suite itself is located in the Torre Mannelli tower and you feel like you are some Florentine royalty staying there, and it's so romantic too. The patio is huge, with the amazing views over the river, the city and most of the sites. The suite itself is very very large and luxurious and has 2 levels. We really could not have wished for more to have an unforgettable stay in Florence! So much better than your traditional hotel experience! We will definitely return and recommend Torre Mannelli Suites to our friends.

Stayed in the bardi suite for a romantic break and was not disappointed. The suite is huge and 2 balconies so you can catch the sun in the morning and the evening. Buy some milk to enhance your breakfast experience, and the Jacuzzi bath is worth a try ;) Bed exceptionally comfy.

I found the Torre Mannelli Suite and had high expectations for the property. I am pleased to say it exceeded my expectation and I would strongly recommend a stay there if you enjoy the history and unique experience of a one of a kind location. Our Host Milva, provided extra service as requested and the experience staying in this location of Firenze is amazing. The outdoor terrace, even in the middle of winter was a great place for coffee and biscotti in the morning. The best part is your personal spa on a second floor below the bedroom. A tight spiral staircase must be navigated to reach this room, which also contains the bathroom but It is all part charm and the adventure at staying in this kind of property.

We booked this for 3 nights, but was very disappointed. The Barda suite isn't actually on the Ponte Vecchio as you are lead to believe, but actually on the side of it. The owner wasn't there to meet us,so I contacted the company that I booked it with and they got hold of her. She confirmed the telephone number we were calling was correct but said it never rang ! She got a friend to let us in. The elevator is a very tight sqeeze and stops at the floor below the suite. (The lift noise is very loud in the suite.) The friend didnt speak any English so we talked to the owner on the phone. We were given a book with info in and things we had to do. E.g. if there was water in the bathroom to contact her. But as the shower was in the bath with no door around it, the water went everywhere and we used the towels drying the floor up. The balcony looks lovely from the photos but you couldn't actually sit and look out easily as the walls are very high. The welcome chocolates on the bed were bloomed, and the slippers provided made you slip on the floors. The only place to wash the plates etc up was in the bathroom sink and no washing liquid or cloths were provided. The bed was comfortable and the position was terrific, but for what you actually got for your money I would suggest you go to a hotel. There was no Tower Ambassador available as stated on the web site. This was a real let down. I was pleased to leave this, I will go back to Florence but to a hotel with service and where I don't have to do the tidying up.

Torre Mannelli is located right on top of Ponte Vecchio, the room I have was one of the suites that is an impressive 2 floor room with a very nice terrace overlooking the river. The room has everything you might need and more! Private gym, sauna, whirlpool bathtub, even a massage table. Very comfortable, the host is great and extremely helpful, even booking a car to go to the airport. I hope in every trip to Florence I can stay in this property. Although does not offer the usual services of a hotel, you will find yourself in the best location and in extreme comfort. You won't be disappointed!

We booked the Bardi Suite for a 3-night stay in Florence with really high hopes. Upon arrival we realized this is not a hotel, its essentially an airbnb (which was perfectly fine with us). The young man who checked us into the cute apartment was very nice and gave us some good dinner recommendations. The manager of the apartment, Milva, told us to contact her for any needs since there was no reception desk in the building. We wrote to her right away that the wifi wasn't working (my boyfriend and I needed wifi for work purposes), to which she much later replied that she will send someone to take a look. She never sent anyone and when we sent her followup messages, they went unanswered for the entire day. At some point she blamed the wifi not working on our own phones but that couldn't have been the case because the "internet" light on the router was not lit. I then messaged Milva that there was no hot water, she never responded to that either. I called her numerous times and still no answer. At this point we were completely outraged. Milva was the only point of contact for us, and had we had any greater emergency, her lack of responding could have been far more damaging. The day we were leaving she finally answered me and said "yes the wifi is broken sorry for inconvenience" without once acknowledging the fact that she ignored us the entirety of our 3 day stay. I have never experienced worse service than this especially at a "highly rated hotel". As nice as the view was in the apartment, Milva's poor service was enough to deter me from ever staying here again and I would not recommend anyone to either.
