If you are looking for a beautiful stay in a amazing tuscan setting where you getting taken care of in the most welcoming and friendly way, the Villa Gaudi is for you! Don't forget to book the Tuscan bbq and try the Brunello since it is fantastic and the staff will take care of you with a great Italian warm smile. A very warm recommendation and thanks to the team at Villa Gaudia for an excellent experience!
The approach to the hotel is the first impression and not a good one....the road and the outside stair needs renovation. The same for the oudside lounge and all the seats ( in and outside ). The bedroom and the bathroom are still ok. Nice swimmingpool.
I don't know why but I thought the Tuscany region was a lot smaller than it actually is. Expect a drive time of around 1.5 hours to the other little towns around the region. The house and all amenities serviced all eight of us well! The kitchen was fantastic - expect a commissarie kitchen and be prepared for a culinary adventure just trying to turn the oven and the stove top on.. lol. Rosemarie served us a lovely breakfast in the morning and even cleaned all our dishes from the night before. Many morning swims, afternoon aperols, aperitifs and gorgeous wood smoked BBQs were enjoyed in this place. The pool was to die for and the garden area blooming with hydrangeas and statues. The interior of the house is dated but works with the Tuscan theme.
