Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.

We were really attracted to this hotel when scrolling the hotel sites and we couldn’t work out why it was so cheap. Yes it’s about a 15min walk from the centre but who wants to stay in the hustle and bustle? We walked in and out, it didn’t feel like much of a walk at all. Easy

Loved this hotel! It was beautiful, clean, and the staff were very helpful. Would definately stay here again. The cocktail hour snacks were incredible, as was the breakfast. It was a bit of a walk to the main Florence attractions (25 minutes from the Duomo), but that was ok.

I often stay in this hotel. It's cozy and clean. I feel the sensation to be in a typical noble tuscan house but with some contemporary details. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast offers lot of fresh foods.

When we first got checked in, we were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the nice interior. Unfortunately, in the 3 days we stayed there, we did not have the basic amenity of hot water for a shower. The water temperature constantly

This hotel has a lot of potential and I would have loved to give it a better rating. Unfortunately, we had some issues I didn't feel one should be experiencing in a 4* hotel in Italy!  The good! Checking in- easy and wonderful, free room to upgrade to garden part of the hotel

Hi, at the exit doors of Pisa airport, turn right and head towards the kiosk for Autostrada which is the airport express service. A return ticket costs 24 euro and takes 1hr 10 minutes. The bus will take you to Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence, from there I think most hotels are a max. 20 minute walk. The Palazzo Lorenzo is walkable, from the train station head to via Nationale and go straight ahead, you will reach a busy main road. Cross at the lights and take the next side street keeping in the same direction. The first right turn will take you over another quiet road but keep straight ahead to the hotel. You can see it ahead as there is a canopy which covers the entrance. Hope this helps.

Buongiorno, non sono andata con il mio bimbo ma la mia camera era silenziosa e spaziosa. Sono molto gentili penso che possano fornire un extra letto.
