Enjoy your stay in Florence!
One of the most memorable stays in a long time. Absolutely beautiful place, helpful staff, great food, breakfast by the pool every day. We had a standard room (so no balcony) but the room had massive windows with great views. The room was big and tidy. We didn't cook, it would need a few extra items to be able to cook I think but we did buy some things from Florence (cheeses, wine) so it was useful to have the kitchen. You did get coffee pods in the room. Fantastic pool and great food at dinner although the bar is very pricey. Quite far from Florence and taking the bus is impractical so you have to take a taxi which cost about 20 Euros - quickly adds up but still less expensive than hiring a car I think. Just have this in mind.
My husband and I had a great experience at Eden Rock. The staff is very friendly and always there to help you out with questions. We had two dinners at the restaurant and both times were outstanding! The sea bass was melt in your mouth as well as the spaghetti with truffles. The bus is super easy to use to get into the city and back. Highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from tourists but still be close enough to the action. Thanks Eden Rock, we loved our stay! P.S. the Julius Meinl coffee served at breakfast is sooooo good :-)
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights as we sought accommodation away from the city centre and we weren’t disappointed. The location is stunning, the staff were brilliant, the rooms and everything about this boutique hotel were brilliant. We arrived late on our 1st night yet they managed to accommodate us in the restaurant (Seats c20) and the food and wine was lovely with very pleasant service. Breakfast the next day was fantastic and very well laid out with lots of fresh produce and attentive staff asking if we wished for something cooked or warm drinks. It was a great start to a day of sight seeing. We chose to chill by the pool on our final day for a few hours in the morning given we had walked nearly 12 kms the day before and it was just so peaceful. The hotel is approx 15 minutes in a taxi from Florence centre but there’s a frequent bus service that starts 1/2km down the road (and staff drop you there free of charge), the return journey stops opposite the entrance. Whenever we needed the staff they were brilliant and because we had an early departure (7:20am), they gave us breakfast in our room the night before or cereals, juice, biscuits etc. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something a little different that isn’t loud or bold but calming and beautiful. …
Came here for mine and my twin sisters 30th birthday with our mam and niece. What a hotel!! Rooms are lovely, hotel is clean with amazing views! The staff however made this trip for us. Couldn't do enough for you. We ate breakfast lunch and had dinner a couple of nights, food was amazing! Try the margarita pizza on the lunch menu!! Easy to get a taxi from the centre of Florence to the hotel (about 20 euros). We also got the bus into Florence each day. One thing that wasn't mentioned however was that you must buy tickets for the busses before you get on - and validate these in the machine on the bus. The staff will drop you down at the bus stop and you can buy tickets from the shop there. Remember to buy your tickets for the way back too! The bus stop for the way back is right outside the hotel but it's hard to navigate where you need to get off especially when you are coming back of an evening and it's dark ( our bus driver wasn't particularly helpful with this - preferring to ignore us) None the less it was a fantastic hotel and a fantastic trip!! If you go into the centre of Florence please make sure you visit Mister Pizza which is right opposite the Dome. Best pizzas we had and a wonderful view of the Dome and the Cathedral.…
My husband and I stayed at the Eden for 4 days as part of our honeymoon. The hotel is lovely. We stayed in a junior suite which had a large balcony with beautiful, panoramic views. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city so you need to get a taxi or bus into Florence. The bus is super cheap and there is a stop right outside the hotel when returning. However, the stop into town is down the hill and is not walkable. This isn't a problem though as the hotel staff give you a lift down to it. We mostly ate out but on the night we had dinner it was nice and the breakfast was good. Clean room and helpful staff. Would definitely return. Florence is beautiful!
