The service is excellent. The attention to detail is great and they are super friendly. While we were there we saw several families staying at the same time. The weather was very warm as expected and the kids and adults had a great time around the pool. Breakfast was excellent. When I come back to Florence this is where I’ll stay. FYI TRAM 2drops you off pretty close to the lofts.
Riva Lofts was such a great place to stay for a weekend in Florence. It was so nice to return to after spending time among the crowds in town. The breakfast was amazing and we loved sitting in the garden with our food to start the day. Our room was spacious, comfortable and stylish. All the staff were really friendly and very helpful.
We had an amazing time at Riva Lofts. The room itself was beautifully appointed, with a comfortable bed, great bathroom and good l little kitchen. It was spotlessly clean. The garden was a lovely place to sit, away from the bustle of the centre and the pool was a welcome respite from the heat. It is east to get to the centre, with a 30 minute walk, or a short tram ride. There’s also bikes you can borrow for free. The only thing missing was some essentials in the kitchen, would be good to have some oil and salt in the rooms to use.
Beautiful grounds along the Arno river trail near the Sandovino district. Abundant coffee and European breakfast service in the living room, gardens and pool on the grounds. Rooms clean and elegant with mini kitchens and space for +1. Grazie!
It is such a beautiful hotel and we booked last minute and was welcomed by big surprise. It's quiet and beautiful and the environment is so soothing. Suites are comfortable and it relaxes you immediately. Our baby sleeps there even better than she did at home. Will always book this place when I return to Firenze.
We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at Riva Lofts in April 2022. Literally everything was perfect; the staff are happy, friendly and personable; the grounds and location are ideal; the food and drinks were genuinely lovely and we had such a funky room with a door from the bedroom to a small outside seating area. Great location - 10 minutes by tram to Firenze's main train station or a 25 minute walk along the Arno river. Definitely worth exploring away from central Firenze too; we ventured out to Torre di Bellosguardo on Via San Carlo for beautiful views over the entire city. Wonderful! Cannot wait to return!!
Secluded, nicely renovated, good staff and great service. It’s not too far from downtown. Tram and bus nearby. Breakfast was good. Rooms are unique Tuscany style. All amenities in the rooms are upscale. Best for family and couples. Safe area.
The communication was always spot on. During our entire stay, we felt very welcomed. Friendly, attentive and professional hotel staff. We got an upgrade and could even choose our room. The rooms were spacious, clean and had charm. The breakfast was delicious. Fresh products and of course the most important thing: freshly prepared italian coffee in different variations. The hotel provides bicycles which came in very handy. The only thing we do regret is the fact, that we did not visit the hotel in summer to relax in the garden with a beautiful, modern pool. Grazie mille, Riva Lofts - Team!
The Riva Lofts and the staff are fantastic. I will stay in no other hotel when visiting Florence! The property is serene and a splendid illustration of uncomplicated design and comfort. The location, about 30 minutes walk from the center, was perfect for being just far enough outside of the hustle. The nearby tram was an easy option for travel into the center. Each room is unique and the gardens invite one to spend the entire day on the premises. Breakfast offered many options. The staff was friendly and quite helpful in planning things to do in the city. Great hotel!!
Riva Lofts is a wonderful boutique bed and breakfast about 20-25 minutes’ walk from the Florence city center. We spent six wonderful days and nights at Riva and look forward to coming back next year. When booking our stay at Riva, I chose Loft #4 which is a larger space that has three walls of floor-to-ceiling glass windows gazing out over the Arno and one facing Florence itself. I also had the opportunity to see other rooms: each is unique and wonderfully decorated. There is an outdoor space with a pool that should make it a wonderful option for the warmer months. We chose to have breakfast at Riva and were not disappointed. Breakfast is offered in a wonderful space that is like a large living room with interesting art and furnishings throughout. A variety of delicious offerings from yogurt to Italian salami and ham were available along with options like scrambled eggs, pancakes or waffles. Service was first-rate from breakfast to arranging transportation and tickets. For anyone with concerns about the distance from the city center, there is a tram a short walk from Riva that takes you to the city center in minutes. They run frequently as well. I appreciated being a bit further away from the noise and crowds of the city center so Riva was the perfect spot for us.…
