The mattress and breakfast were nice. The things we were disappointed about were the rooms. We didn’t know why the rooms were heavily oiled with air freshener at first. So we took the oil jar outside. Our rooms were dark ..windows were up near the roof . Second, the drains were bad. The showers in both our rooms were flooded to over 1 inches.same as the kitchen sink. No parking although the website said there were 3 free parking. We paid over 40 euros for 3 nights parking.
Great taste in design and style. A unassuming, quaint oasis on the bank of Arno River away from the crowded touristy city center. Lido and staff were warm and wonderful that made it feel home away from home.
It was our first time in Firenze and we are still in awe with the beauty and amount of history. We chose Riva Lofts because we like the ambiance of a hotel boutique. I thought it was interesting that everything in Firenze has history and Riva wouldn't be any different! The hotel is very cozy, the decoration is very chic modern with a touch of antique, it was very clean and finally, the location was really good since the train is a 5 min walk and 3 stops away from the city center. The hotel also has good restaurant and sight seeing recommendations and a great breakfast. Patricia who helped at the breakfast was really polite and had good tips too. Overall, we would love to come back!
We arrived on Xmas day though it was holiday, the team provided clear instructions in advance, shout out to Sara & Eleonora and team. The housekeeping and breakfast crew were very helpful in every detail. Stay at Riva Loft was one of the highlights of our Italy trip, picturesque beautiful premise and short walk to metro which leads u to city center in 10mins. A short bus ride to Piazzale Michelangelo Florence where you can get panoramic view of Florence. We highly recommended Riva Loft to anyone visiting Florence :)
Our stay, although short, was lovely and memorable at the Riva Lofts Florence, The place was a rustic wonderfully refurbished villa/private residence type, with an amazing landscape/pool area and very friendly staff. It felt like home with a cozy breakfast/dinner corner near the fire place, Therefore, we definitely might go back and recommend it to our friends.
Nice and quiet location, close to public transport/supermarket, good facilities and good hospitality. I definitely stay here again and can recommend to others. When I cancelled one room (we used two in total), the admin lady generously treated my request.
Visiting Florence with my wife was a bucket list trip. Staying at the Riva Lofts was an exceptional contribution to a trip of a lifetime. The facilities were spacious, clean and inviting. Our room was well furnished with two sofa's, chairs mini-fridge and cooktop. The bed was new and very comfortable. Linens were top notch. The staff were all warm and welcoming and sought to do all that was needed to ensure our stay was everything we hoped for. The front desk was prepared for our arrival and helped us with many small requests such as extra pillows, additional waters etc. They were responsive, kind and very professional. The facility had a great breakfast bar, again staffed by excellent staff. The proximity of the Lofts to the Metro (Tram) was excellent. A brief 3-4 minute walk made access easy. The tram line was 5 stops from the main rail station and had easy access to the sights of Florence. We recommended Riva Lofts to our friends who are heading there next month. Strongly recommended! Our thanks to the staff and management for an excellent stay. We will definitely return!…
This is a cool, upscale and unique property in a strategic location. The nearby trolley is quick and easy and the half hour walk along the river is also very manageable and pleasant. Service was very good and the room was fairly spacious and comfortable- though it was not a loft just a single floor. It was more rustic and industrial-ish than luxurious. Bath amenities and towels were very good and the bed was comfortable. However there was loud noise from the HVAC system every time it cycled off, and light coming in through the fabric window coverings. Breakfast buffet was small but high quality and fresh. The surroundings were nice and gave the place an intimate, relaxing feeling. Overall a good value property in a good location.
Our family had a lovely stay here! Easy to take the tram to/from Florence and a short walk. Grocery store was a short walk, too. We especially loved the calm atmosphere in the breakfast area and the selection of food.
Lovely stay and restful accommodation after a day out about in Florence. We loved the rooms, space and convenience of the location. We attended cooking class and loved every moment of the class. Dinner at the loft was very memorable and delicious. Thank you for making our stay memorable. Definitely recommend.
