My mom and I had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights. This hotel was within our budget and is around the corner from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station. This was very convenient to us as we arrived via train from Venice and were leaving by train to Rome. We also had tours booked that met at... More

We stayed at hotel Angelica during the month of September. Owner makes you feel like at home away from home. Very friendly and helpful. Great location. We will definitely stay at Hotel Angelica in the future.

Arrived at this hotel after a stopover in Rome and on our way to Venice. From the minute we arrived the staff made us feel so welcome and really couldn't do enough for us. The location was perfect just round the corner from the main train station. We spent a great few days exploring this beautiful city. The staff were... More

2 other friends and I had a wonderful stay here. Fernando, the owner, is very helpful and charismatic, and his wife is also very lovely. The bedroom and the bathroom were clean, and the breakfast in the mornings had everything we needed. The location was also perfect-- we walked to everything. This hotel also had working AC! Which is a... More

This hotel is in a great location within minutes of sights and a block from the train station. We had emailed the hotel to enquire about coming one night earlier than the booked stay of two nights. As the website showed no availability, an email enquiry was sent asking if a room was available and if so at what cost.... More

As a two-star hotel, Hotel Angelica met (sort of) the expectations of such ranking. However the staff demeanor makes us feel uncomfortable. Two mayor setbacks during our stay there was that the AC was not functioning properly and there was NO water available during our last night... One of the hotest of our stay... The location of the hotel is... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Very close to main station and all of the main sights. Hotel staff very friendly and kind. Room was clean, fresh towels and linen everyday. More plug points were needed though. Breakfast was basic but acceptable, would have liked more of a variety of pastries. But overall very satisfied.

We did a quick trip to Florence from our cruise. We only had a few hours to tour Florence and sleep before heading out for an early train to Rome in the morning. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet. It is a block away from the main train station yet on a very quiet street that was central... More

Only 2 blocks from the train station, and 2 blocks from a grocery store. Easy walking access to most of the attractions in Florence, and the street is relatively quiet. Not fully accessible (maybe 3 steps up/down), but manageable, and the caged elevator in the center of the stairway with manually operated doors is sort of a step back in... More
