The hotel was easy to find even when using public transportation, only a 5min walk from bus stop. We received an upgrade since there was a room available at no charge. The B&B is run by a family and they are all very attentive and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, for the money that you pay it's a... More

We were extremely happy with our stay here. Everything was really very good: clean and spacious room, generous breakfast, nice shower experience. And the gem of of it all was the hosts attentive attitude. They really cared about where we go and what's the best plan we can have. Agostino, the owner, offered to come and get us back from... A bit of a walk (approx 40 mins) from the train/bus station, up a couple of very steep hills! We advise getting the bus (no 36/37) to stop San Gaggio 5 and walking back down the hill to the b&b. Bus tickets are €1.40 for a single 90 minute ticket, buy from a tobacconist. (There are currently a few disruptions... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Florence. Not far from the center, it was an easy walk down but a little uphill back when you return nevertheless that's a good exercise after eating your heart out. What really touched us were the friendly hosts Augustino and his mother , what lovely people who were so helpful... More

My daughter and I stayed in this wonderful B and B which is a short walk from the 36 and 37 buses. The house is over 100 years old, the room was furnished beautifully and was a refreshing change from the American hotel chains. Augustino really extended himself - he picked us up from an evening concert when we were... More
