Location was excellent, few steps from the main train station and in the midst of the San Lorenzo's market, the stores and lots of excellent trattorias around. Staff were welcoming and friendly, despite some bad (and, in our opinion, totally wrong) reviews. Room was very...More

Just stayed one night. The room was comfortable. Convenient to train and attractions. Let us store our luggage so we could see attractions before room was ready. Noisy out side of hotel. WiFi wasn't too strong. Breakfast wasn't of our liking.

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
