Excellent location. Clean room. Host was so accommodating and even brought breakfast to the room with new cautionary procedures. She was really great and even had breakfast early for us on our day of departure. Would definitley stay again.

We stayed there for six nights in May. It is well located just a few minutes' walk from Santa Maria Novella train station and with a Carrefour supermarket nearby. The good-sized room was very comfortable with a pleasant courtyard outlook and very tastefully furnished. Rooms come with airconditioning, mini-fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The hostess delivers to the room at your nominated time each morning a superb breakfast she prepares in accordance with your choices the night before from an extensive menu that includes ham, cheese, and/or cooked eggs. As far as we can tell, the hostess does everything involved in operating the B&B herself, and does so to a very high standard. This was the best of the four places we stayed at on our Italian holiday. While a bit more expensive than others, it was well worth it. Thoroughly recommended.

Close to the station, the congress palace and Piazza SM Novella, it is a small structure on the first floor of an ancient building. Essential and concrete, the environment is clean. The young lady who runs the B&B is courteous and attentive. Breakfast served in the room from 8am is also punctual. Well, if I can afford to give advice, I would bring the time forward to 7.30am. I think I'll be back.

La Locandiera is a perfect place to visit Florence, located next to the train station and a few steps from the historic center. It has all the services and amenities to spend a few days of unforgettable vacations. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. Silvia, the owner, is super friendly, she makes you feel at home from minute zero, in addition to offering you all the information you may need and some super valuable advice. Breakfast in the room is a great plus, very varied and delicious. I hope to return soon, as the city deserves more days to discover it, and without a doubt La Locandiera is the ideal place to start and end your days in Florence!

Loved our visit here. Florence is a very special place and this B&B made it even more special. Such an amazing host and everything was beautiful. The location is as convenient as possible,very close to all the attractions and the central train station.The rooms,we booked 3 at the same time,were all bright ,roomy and very comfortable,not to mention that they were immaculate,absolutely spot-on.We were warmly welcome by the business boss ,Silvia ,who’s a great host ,a real “locandiera” .

I loved my week at La Locandiera. It's in a quiet area while being a very easy walk to the best of everything Florence has to offer. Silvia gives you a warm welcome, makes you a delicious breakfast and is great to talk to. When I struck trouble with a detail of my onward journey she was there to help and support. I'm very grateful to her and think the world of her. My room was clean, comfortable, had a small fridge, a good safe, a well functioning bathroom and a garden view. La Locandiera was perfect for my needs and I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Florence.

not really but it depends at what time you need it, in specific case I can make it at 7:30 not earlier or I can prepare a box breakfast (i usually do that in this case) the evening before as in the room there is an electric kettle and coffees and teas that you can make by yourself.
Anyway we can arrange this together once you are here, if you reserve with me.
