Ridolfi Guest House is a lovely place to stay in Florence! We were made to feel very welcome and the couple who run the guesthouse helped us with directions for getting around the city, as well as booking tours for us. The rooms are quite cute with a fresh, clean and spacious feel to them. You will also be served... More

I chose this bed and breakfast because of the hifh rating i read. the beds were not confortable. the barhroom was private but external, to go to the bathroom i had to go through reception, water shut down automatically so i had to turn it on all the time. next day they did not provide me with new towels or... We really enjoyed our stay at this cute and comfortable guest house. Maria was very helpful and always served a nice breakfast. 15 minute walk from the city center and the train station. There are little grocery shops, bars/restaurants and multiple bus stops that are close by. our only complaint would be that sometimes in the morning you could hear... More

Great b&b located about a 7 minute walk to the train station (we wheeled our 5 large suitcases without too much trouble). It was also close to markets, the Duomo and great shopping opportunities. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was ample. Staff were welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. We were given a map and given suggestions for places to... More

Great room, big bathroom, comfortable bed. The people that run the place are very friendly and helpful, everything was incredibly clean. It's close to the train station, which is convenient. Short walks to all of the major landmarks. Great breakfast spread in the room. It was a bit noisy, but bearable. You could just hear people coming and going a... More

Friendliest hosts I got throughout my trip and I was on the road for one month. They're really thorough, contacted me by email beforehand, and when it was the day to check in, we had some difficulty finding it and Fabio came looking for us downstairs. Julia was great help finding ways for me to go to outlet I wanted... More

Ridolfi Guest House B&B is located a short walk from Firenze SMN train station, few blocks down Via Nationale and a left turn into Independence Park. It's located next to the Philippines Consulate opposite a Pinoy Store. The place is simple and very clean, with a shared kitchenette. WiFi works well. We stayed there for 3 days in different rooms.... More

We have just been in Florence for 12 days and all the time we stayed at Ridolfi Guest House, even when visiting the small villages around Florence we came back the end of the day to Florence again. Staying at Ridolfi was really very good. Eliseo, the owner, is the kindest person a visitor can meet in a B&B and... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A welcome from who has transformed this roomy and comfortable apartment into a bed & breakfast. I have been a traveller for many years and, although everyone of us is different, some fundamental aspects are universal: the price/quality relation, the availability and the discretion of the management and staff, the attention to cleanliness. Moreover the location of the structure in respect of the historical centre, the most important trade fairs (fashion - the Fortezza da Basso for example) and of the main railway station S. M. Novella is guaranteed. We can offer you all of this in truly spacious and comfortable rooms situated in an unusually silent street; every day, we work with the aim of improving the quality and the comfort for you, our future visitors. Upon your arrival, for those interested, we are happy to offer you a coffee or a welcoming aperitif ... more   less
