When I arrived into florence, there was no one at Locanda Gallo. I did not have an Italian sim so I was unable to call the hotel. I had to walk down the street to get the man working at the vegetarian restaurant to call the manager. She told me over phone, that she had gone home for the day...

I really enjoyed my stay here. Stayed with two other friends in the Michelangelo room. Good size and very nice reception and great location. I left my camera in the room there after our stay and emailed to see if it was found. Thankfully it was but I have since been unable to get in contact with any body there...

Very central to everything, you do not need a vehicle unless you are disabled. We stayed in the studio apartment with kitchenette. The room was spacious and had 2 a/c units. Very quiet and clean. It seems the only people leaving poor reviews are English. The owner speaks English, French, and Italian but you may be greeted by her helper...

We stayed in this hotel and we were very happy for choosing it. We were a family; my parents, my sister and me. My parents had an amazing room, it exceeded our expectations, they even had a small kitchen in their room. My sister and I had a good sized room, big and comfy bed. In all our rooms everything...

Stayed here for one night in February and due to the decent reviews and cheap price we decided to opt for locanda gallo. The location was very good, 5 mins from duomo and many other sites. Many nice restaurants/bars nearby. However, the place is hard to find, and we took about 15 mins of walking around the same road to...

Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. “Giotto room had a double bed, mini kitchen and ensuite. AC is a bit loud but we had a great sleep. You do have to go all the way up as there is no lift so consider that if not too fit or carrying heavy luggage. Do let them know in advance the time you are arriving.”
