We were so satisfied with our choice - of all the rooms in Florence this was perfect for us. Alessio was so accommodating and helpful (helping us carry our luggage up the stairs and offering us bottles of cold water) , the room was spacious and clean and comfortable and quiet, the location was perfect for walking or taking the... Locanda de' Ciompi was a wonderful base for our 4-day stay in Florence. The location was excellent, the room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was elegant, the daily cleaning was impeccable, and the owner, Alessio, was the epitome of the gracious host. He provided my wife and I with a recommendation for a dinner place that... More

When we got to the hotel there was construction going on on the bottom floor. We were exhausted from dragging our luggage from the bus stop so the first thing Alessio (the owner) did was sit us down and give us some cold water. He helped us lug our bags upstairs. He checked us in but our room was not... More

Charming and elegant room with thoughtful touches (bathrobe and slippers, heated towel rack, etc). Very convenient location and the breakfast at a cute little cafe included was an extra value. The owner/family could not have been more helpful, accommodating and genuinely friendly and interested in making your visit a success! Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again! Stayed for 3 nights. Alessio went out of his way being so helpful. The welcome was warm and informative. The room is well appointed and the sleep quality was good. The location was also good to visit the sights. Highly recommend this place to stay. Professionally run, but friendly.

We have just had 7 wonderful nights in Florence. Our second visit. Firstly Location. The Bed & Breakfast is on what seems to be a connecting street so at times is busy, but never overly loud and quiet at night. Even with two cafe/ resturants nearby. It is five minutes (via dei Pepi) to the Santa Croce, and a ten... More

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, which was conveniently located within walking distance of all the major Florence sights. Alessio, the owner, went out of his way to be helpful. Our room was ample size -- the exposed wood beam ceiling was a plus. The bathroom was clean and up-to-date. Wi-fi worked well. Our room faced the street, which... More

I was feeling like I rent a home in Firenze. The building was nice and our room was very cosy, with the window to the front of the street. If you appreciate to wake up with the sun, our room was perfect. I loved the amenities from the American brand C.O. Bigelow! It´s Sant'Ambrogio neighborhood, you can live the Fiorentine... More
