Fantastic place, within small walking distance from Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi and other historic objects. Nicely decorated, air conditioned and clean. The owner is very friendly. We even got a city map and a couple of hints regarding sightseeing in Florence and in Pisa. I can highly recommed the place!

Don't stay on the wrong side of the Arno. Little places like this along Via Romana are in a much more quiet and authentic neighborhood. Yes, it is a little longer walk with a suitcase, but the room was air conditioned, clean, quirky but cute and I was greated with cold complementary drinks and a smile and all was good...

We enjoyed the location of Home in Florence as it is located very close to many of the major attractions. The major plus is that it is in a more residential area thus giving a more realistic cultural experience. Be prepared for stairs as there is no lift and the rooms are several flights up. Our room was nicely decorated...

Enjoyed staying here as embedded in local Firenze neighborhood and close walk to restaurants. Some may consider this a longer walk to Academia/Statue of David location but once you have found your way their Firenze is easy to get around. As far as this B&B very helpful staff as are onsite daily in the morning and afternoon. Also were very...

My husband I recently stayed for 4 nights. Matteo was so helpful, friendly and nothing was too much bother. Great local information. Our room was huge, heating perfect though we did open the windows as it was particularly warm weather. The room was cleaned every day and left spotless. Our room was directly outside the breakfast area which was great...

Home in Florence was lovely, private and very close to what we wanted to see in the very short time we were there. Matteo and Andrea were very welcoming and helpful. They made us feel like we were truly "home" in Florence. Thank you!

We spent 5 nights here in January. Located near the Piazza Pitti, 10 or 15 minutes walk from the historic center on a quiet little street. Buses nearby are an easy option in case of rain or cold .The B&B is on the 2nd floor of large house; rooms are plain, very high ceilings, new bathrooms. Matteo and Andrea were...

I was a solo female traveler who would be traveling for 3 weeks, with a fair amount of luggage. Coming from the train station, it was easy enough to find the correct bus to take to the B&B. It was technically possible to walk but that's not an enviable prospect if you have a 18kg luggage and have to navigate...

Dear Shihlin, first of all I would like to thank you for your generally positive review. There are, however, some remarks I would like to make: 1) Our place is only 1.5km away from the railway station so you can easily reach it on foot (unless you have a big suitcase as in your case) or by bus in less...

Home in florence is a lovely B&B, perfect for what we wanted. Short walk to the ponte vecchio bridge. All main florence attractions can be seen by walking if desired (we walked) but buses stop right near the hotel. Food was nice traditional Italian breakfast .... small snacks left for you to have 24/7. Ideal. Matteo was really nice and...
