We stayed in a triple room for two nights in January. It was very nice, the room was very large, and the staff was all very kind. They spoke very good English, and the shared bathroom was always clean. There wasn't excessive noise at night, but that didn't stop us from having fun! The vibes were chill and we enjoyed...

The location is the real winner here. It is about as central as you can get. Right around the corner from the main piazzas and close to all the shops and restaurants you need. The interior is also lovely, very cozy and clean with the charm of old Florence. As soon as you walk through the main gate, you enter...

Centrally located in a 16th century palace. My room was charming, intimate and welcoming. Rooms have kettles, sinks and controllable heat. Staff was very helpful and made me feel at home. You are steps away from Santa Croce, the Uffizi & the Duomo. Good internet. Daily cleaning. I will stay again.

The hotel was very nice, large, and clean. We arrived late and the reception was nice and helpful. We stayed so that I could leave early to the airport the next morning. For us the only disadvantage was that there wasn't very convenient parking for our car near by. Over all the stay was nice and I would recommend this...

Room in the third floor of a XV Century palace, warmed up by conventional heaters at night, cosy, cleaned up every day with new towels and soap and shampoo, very centrical, which makes it a little bit too noisy at night. Abundant continental breakfast, fresh fruit missing. Staff are cordial and respectuous.

We liked the hotel and its perfect location. We stayed at a big room with ensuit bathroom and many stairs to reach it. We could see the dumo from the window. would glad to come back. Some people would find it not modern but it was very fine for us.

Great location, but way too hot. Fan did nothing to cool the room. Weren't told there was a mosquito plug in the drawer and got some really nasty bites. Breakfast was very basic. Shared bathroom was not good as there were queues in the morning and one of these was just off the breakfast room! Woodwork was dirty and rooms...

This hotel is located at the center of Florence and everything is very close! The building is very old and is very impressive, it gives you the feeling you are in another century! The hotel manager is very friendly helpful, it was a pleasure to chat with him. I would definitely recommend!

We stayed in room # 2, a family room that had a double bed, two single beds and a sink and shower. Two airy tall windows afforded a view of the beautiful blue sky, the peaceful courtyard below, and through which we listened to the church bells ringing every morning. There's no lift, so be prepared to carry your luggage...

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
