I liked hotel Enza. It's in a good location - very quiet street, 10 min walk to the city centre. Rooms were clean, with nice towels, but our room (room 5) was tiny (6 was bigger). There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room, which I couldn't understand as I was told smoking was prohibited until I... More

We stayed 2 nights in this "hotel" in February. We arrived at the hotel at 10 pm. The rooms we received contained: beds, a wardrobe, a table with a closed closet underneath (with key) and a TV. The room was supposed to be warmed by an old heater. There was also an air conditioning with no way to turn it... More

We feel sorry if these guests didn't have a good staying with us. Firstable we have to explain that the reservation made was the cheapest one we sell for 365 days a year. That means standard room and continental breakfast .Extra dishes are reserved to other kind of reservation or can be order with an extra cost. About the heating... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in January 2015. The hotel was easy walking distance from the train station, maybe 15 minutes walk. Location is great for discovering the old city and all its main attractions, only 10 mins walk to the Academia, Cathedral and Uffizi, along with all the retail shops and restaurants that go with... The hotel is normal for its price and location. It is 10-15 min walking distance from the train station and 10 -15 min from the Duomo. There are not many restaurants near bay that i can recommend. We were at room number 10. It was very cold in it, especially the bathroom. It was adventure to take a shower. The... More

I stayed two nights in Hotel Enza and although it had problems - the shower was very small with a tile for a shelf right at shoulder height, the room was quite dated, they have a stupid front door - I had seen myself returning later in my trip. I had only seen one person working for the first two... More

Have stayed here now 3 times and it always seems like staying with family. The hotel is small, quaint and totally family run. Walking distance to the train station but away from the horde of tourists and noise of Florence. Since I had a very early (6:30 am) flight from Florence, I asked about arranging a taxi, but was told... More
