Good location beside river, beautiful period rooms - slightly quirky. Attentive staff. Best buffet breakfast I've ever seen, although cafe is in separate building and shared with other hotels. No hesitation in recommending hotel.

Ah, I have just returned from 5 days at this hotel, and can hand on heart say it was the most perfect hotel I've ever stayed at. Was easy enough to find, £10 in a taxi from the town centre coach/train station. Hotel on 2nd floor, well signposted, ignore reviews saying you can't find it.. Rubbish. We were in room... More

I am giving this hotel a two-star review because I feel the air conditioning in this hotel is not up to par with the needs of the building's capacity. I got to my room (39 I believe) and it was sweltering hot. I assumed it was because the AC was off so I turned it on and lowered it as... More

Its my own fault, I depend on tripadvisor reviews to help make a decision on a new hotel choice. I didn't read the reviews under terrible, I really really should have read all of the reviews. I booked a Jr. suite with river view, with a bed added for a third person at 329.00 euros a night. We arrived to... More

Two sides of my review all depending on the room you are taking! So i will start with my booking mid June as part of my trip to Italy, i booked the double room economy which was a nightmare even though i stayed for a couple of hours only until i upgraded my room to Junior suite river view which... Bemused by the bad reviews for this hotel, it was lovely! We stayed in a junior suite with a river view. The room was very spacious, ceilings were very high and the bed was comfortable - quite firm but I like that. There were spare pillows in the cupboard and the bathroom was large too, generous size and lovely big... More

So and so hotel, a bit smelly, great breakfast, warm room. The girls at the desk were pretty nice to us. I didn't like the prices for using a rental car and there is a big problem with parking and zona 0 fees.

Being a first timer in Italy, this hotel is not hard to find. Arrived Florence via train from Padova. Just walk to one of those narrow streets and you will hit Arno river. Stayed there for 3 nights. Reception is on the 2nd floor. Leave the room key before you leave the hotel, they have big and heavy key chain.... More

The room was quite small and dated but we were hardly in it so didn't really mind. The hotel is quaint with some lovely old features. The staff were very friendly and helped us park the car (not easy!). The location is fantastic - we were able to walk everywhere. It also has amazing views. We would definitely stay here... More

The location is great right on the river 2 blocks from Ponte Vecchio. The rooms are quite large for Italian standards with incredibly high ceilings. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the included breakfast was wonderful. Would highly recommend..especially for the price!

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
