Piazzale Michelangelo
Just outside the ancient walls of Florence, Viale Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by wonderful poplars and holm oaks. The long ascent opens up to the most beautiful and famous panoramic viewpoint of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, where an elevated terrace offers visitors an incomparable and breathtaking view of the entire city from above. During good weather, Piazzale Michelangelo provides visitors with a serene space surrounded by the amazing landscape, better if accompanied by a fresh gelato from a local kiosk. During night, visitors will be dazzled by the warm lights of the capital of the Renaissance. Spend a second with the silent Romanesque beauty of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte: the one that wishes good morning and good night to Florence!

A nice way to walk down the hill from Pizzale Michelangelo. At the end of September there aren't many roses still in bloom so the garden was past its peak for the year. There are several interesting sculptures throughout the garden which make for good photo ops.

Was the most horrible experience....!!! The owner or whosoever she was, she didnt want to tell us made our stay horrible....Guys, honestly please dont book this one if you have a choice. First of the location is very off. The ONLY thing right above the location is Piazza Michelangelo. For everything else you will need to walk atleast 15mins. Even for good food, you will have to walk, although there are a few dining areas around this place. When we reached, there was a very young girl to receive us who has no ideas what she was doing, leave alone she did not even know how to open the apartment for us. We had 2 little kids and were exhausted from the journey but she kept on flirting with our taxi driver and he had to open the door for us which was a big challenge as its a very tight and tricky lock. Anyways when we got in, the wifi passwd did not work and we had to call the owner so many times to get a reponse as we needed the wifi right away to call a cab to go eat etc: The mattress were horrible including the sofa bed, you could feel the spring so badly just like you were sleeping on the spring not the mattress. To top it all the air conditioning stopped working. We called and messaged the owner SEVERAL times to get no reponse, and when she did she did not want to help. She was extremely rude and started telling us that if we ask her about AC again, she will be annoyed. It was very HOT in Florence and with 2 little kids, it was impossible to stay inside. She promised to come by but she never did. On repeatedly requesting she finally showed up to take our Passport information 2 days later and then started shouting on us that she cant do anything about the AC and we CAN LEAVE And go to another place. WE had such a frustrating stay beyond our imagination. Who treats tourists like that specially with 2 little kids involved. SHAME ON THEM!!! Horrible people and Horrible stay, I just dont want to write anymore about it as its reminding us of how horrible they are !!!!!!!!!! Please DONT GO HERE AT ALL !

The apartment is very cute and in a decent location. Not the closest to everything but relatively close enough (about 10-12 min walk) to most sights. Note that after you've been sightseeing all day, even a 10 min walk back to your apartment can seem like an eternity so just keep that in mind. The neighborhood is great, close to several restaurants and bars. The room we were in (not sure about the other bedroom) is really small and I think I have a high tolerance for small rooms. If you are renting out the whole apartment then that would be more ideal so you can also use the living room area if you need extra space. They also just need to pay a bit more attention to detail. The apartment overall was clean but I did notice the table in the kitchen was a bit dirty as I was able to get rid of some wine stains. I'm also unsure of the housekeeping schedule because there was one day where no one came to clean up but they came the other day. A full-length mirror somewhere in the apartment would have also been nice to have. Wifi could also be stronger inside the rooms. Overall, a great value.

We stayed for 4 nights as a group of 4 at the apartment in the basement. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, and kitchen. I absolutely loved the soft colours of the apartment. The only downside is that the bathrooms seemed a bit tiny and the staff at the breakfast area had a bit of an attitude. In the last couple of days we didn't really bother going. This apartment was located near the Piazzale Michaelangelo where you have a breathtaking view of the entire city. This area is so safe and cozy, you feel safe at anytime of the day / night out.

Very pretty and magic place to accomodate. It is in walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and centro of Florence. Next door is giardino Boboli and plazza Michelangelo. Breakfast is in little bakery in next street. You will be "Florencer" if you rent this appartment. Much better than hotel. There is one bedroom with double and living room with sofa bed for two with kitchen with dischmaschine and bathroom. There is wifi and washing machine. The entrance door to app is authentic and magic:-) This app with character.
