We spent three nights at the B&B Al Ventaglio in May and enjoyed every moment. The location is outside the historic district so it is quieter. It is a 20-25 minute walk into the historic center, but there are easy buses if you choose not to walk. The hosts, Luciano and Stefania, are delightfully warm and gracious. They have printed...

Thank you Stefania & Luciano for welcoming us into your home. We haven't done a B&B before and you have truly made this a very nice experience for us. The room was spacious, clean & cozy. The extra small touches such as the bread for toast, muffins and of course all the coffee we can drink was very much appreciated!...

This B&B is small with only 2 rooms, however our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated with A/C, TV etc and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits and free wi-fi. The breakfast consisted of a selection of cakes, yoghurts, bread & cheese etc which were laid out for us to help ourselves. It was about a 25 minute easy walk...

We stayed at B&B Al Ventaglio for 3 nights in May 2016. The hosts Luciano and Stefania are wonderful people, so warm and friendly. They make you feel like old friends who have come to visit instead of guests. We were given a welcome packet with a small notebook to document our stay in Florence, as well as recommendations on...

When you arrive at Al Ventaglio, you are always warmly welcomed. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a Florentine style with great attention to detail. They are spotlessly clean. The bed linen is fresh and the beds are truly comfortable. The windows are properly shuttered and so the rooms are very quiet, a welcome retreat after a day of sightseeing....

This really is a great place to stay in Florence. I'd highly recommend it. First of all, Stefania and Luciano are wonderful hosts. They greeted is very warmly and provided us with lots of information. They were very keen for us to enjoy our stay. What sets this B&B apart from many others however was that it felt like we...

We stayed here for six nights in October. Easy to get bus to and from train station, bus stop is near this B&B. There is a large shuttle bus from train station to airport if you need that too. The owners, Luciano and Stephania, were wonderful - so friendly and helpful. The rooms (there are two rooms available) are comfortable...

I would recommend this small B & B to anyone visiting Florence. The hosts were wonderful, great location, and perfect room. The hosts, although their English was not the best, made every effort to communicate with us the information we needed to know. They made us feel and home and welcomed us without being too intrusive. The location of this...
